One of the pioneers of the belgian new beat and techno scene. De Wulf started in music around 1986 as a DJ/programmer for several local pirate radio stations in the area of Gent. He was mainly interested in music with a strong rhythmical content: new wave funk, electro, European and American experimental post-punk. Not just contenting himself with lining up tracks and commenting on them as radio makers in those days did, he made his own mixes and created a particular live atmosphere during his programmes.
From radio it was just a small step to DJ'ing in clubs, and by doing that Frank became intrigued by the process of making music. Captured by the early spirit of the new beat movement, his desire to gain more creative possibilities made him swap his turntables for a synthesizer and a sampler, and in this modest home studio environment he started to compose his own material and to remix existing tracks.
First public proof of his talents as a musician and a producer was the 12-inch "Acid Rock", which instantly became an underground hit and over the years developed into one of the classics of the first European Dance wave. But De Wulf's big breakthrough came with The B-Sides (2) series (on Music Man Records), a stylish cocktail of beats and pieces, peculiar atmospherics and citations from international Dance highlights. All four volumes charted in several European countries and reigned over dancefloors on the continent as well as in the States. The B-Sides vested De Wulf's name as key figure in the neo-beat wave, and in no time he found himself travelling throughout the global Dance village to DJ, to remix for artists as diverse as Erasure, N-Joi, Jam & Spoon, Orb, The and Shamen, The and to promote his own material.
He later released an impressive body of work on his own labels H.P.F., Tribal Sun, Mikki House, Two Thumbs and Growth, compiled the CD "Missing Links" (a collection of his favourite tracks by other artists mixed with his own) and did production work for others. As an artist he continued to grow, incorporating Trance and ambient elements in his avant-Dance music.

Ladies and gentlemen, I give you ... Kris Krause. For me personally, Kris' DJ sets in 1994 changed my life. He was one of the first DJ’s in North Carolina playing this music in the early 1990’s. He and Jeff Nagel were an incredible duo. Jeff is also a great DJ and who Kris almost always shared the decks with. Kris played the first party I ever went to "Jenny's Jig II" in Jan 1994 at Kilroy's in Greensboro, NC. Kris’ set and music just totally blew me away. -(Dan’s tape collections contains a tape of Jenny’s Jig, which I’ll be posting soon) - I had been collecting "rave" CD's for years and made my first mix tape in 1991, but when I went to this underground party and heard real underground house/ techno, I was totally floored. It opened up a whole new world for me and even influenced what I did with the rest of my life, as I now work for a music technology company. This particular party was called "Warp" and was the first time I ate a can a beans (ya no what im sayin?) It was an incredible, life changing experience. Kris still plays and lives in Charlotte under the name Mr Atomic. Look him up. Olivier Abbeloos  is born and raised in Belgium. He’s active as DJ, producer, composer, remixer. 

Step backward,  Olivier Abbeloos a familiar name? That depends on when you first started buying house music.
 
He shot to fame in the early 90's producing classics such as T99's 'Anasthasia' together with Patrick De Meyer & rapper Zeno (which was on Sony Music and XL Recordings around the Prodigy era) and Quadrophonia's 'Quadrophonia' together with Lucien Foort. Two huge records, number ones in many territories worldwide and records that kick started the dance music and in particular the rave scene. The album release of T99 “Children of Chaos” contained 17 tracks. Anasthasia appears on the soundtrack of the 1999 film Human Traffic. A massive hit in 1991 and a great source of inspiration for generations to come. 25 Years later, the iconic song is honored with five new versions on Armada. In 2019 Anasthasia is honored with a lot of remixes on iG Recording.
With Quadrophonia he released the album “Cozmic Jam” including the rave anthem Quadrophonia.
No small feat. Olivier also produced Technotronics Second Album.
 
Fast forward to 2006 and Olivier has struck gold with his C-MOS - “2 million ways” record signed to Lowered Rec. / Universal Music (UK) and remixed by Axwell. But this time its not a rave anthem - this is a raw yet slick house record. 
So what else is Olivier doing ? Olivier runs Holographic & iG Recording, labels based in Belgium. Over the past 20 years, he has developed a typical sound that is like no other in the house scene. He produces several projects under the names C-MOS, Conga Squad, Cloud 9, Nu-matic, Bio-nic, Dynetic, Warp Factor One, Souldraft, Kretek, Soul Patrol, Trigger, Destroyer, Neon, Jarvic 7, Random Generator, Vortex, NBK, QA 0-127, The Concrete Beat, Neutron Pulse, ...
His hot and spicy sequences have appeared on a lot of mix compilations (Armada, Moby, Hed Kandi, Ministry of Sound, ….). Companies like Universal, Sony, Columbia, EMI, BMG, Warner, Virgin, Subliminal, Motivo, Strictly Rhythm, Kingstreet, JBO, Armada, Spinnin' …  licensed his productions.
