A traditional poem (qasida) describing love of the Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, and the poet's desire to visit his blessed grave in Madina. This was sung at SeekersHub in Toronto during one of the blessed nights of remembrance. The masterful Nader Khan is also singing and playing the drum.

سلام على قبر يزار من البعد * سلام على الروضة وفيها محمد

سلام على من زار في الليل ربه * فبلغه المرغوب في كل مقصد

سلام على من قال للضب من انا * فقال رسول الله انت محمد

سلام على المدفون في ارض طيبة * ومن خصه الرحمن بالفضل والمجد

نبي حباه الله بالحسن والبها * فطوبى لعبد زار قبر محمد

ايا راكبا نحو المدينة قاصدا * فبلغ سلامي للحبيب محمد

في روضته الحسنى مناي وبغيتي * وفيها شفا قلبي وروحي ورا حتي

 فان بعدت عني وعز مزارها * فتمثالها لدي احسن صورة

انزه طرف العين في حسن روضها * فيسلو بها لبي وسري ومهجتي

فها انا يا قطب العوالم كلها * اقبلها شوقا لاشفاء علتي

وصل على قطب الوجود محمد * صلاة بها تمحو عنا كل زلة
