Jullu Fikrî

Our beloved Muhammad upon him peace. Our beloved Muhammad upon him peace. 

What power do I have over myself? What about me is from me?
 
Why about rizq for what? When the Creator is sustaining me 

He continues to cover me always. so glory to Allah, the Wise, the Knowing. 

I have no power or strength. Except by the Great and High Lord.

I was born completely naked. Not knowing this or that. 

The protection of Allah the Very Generous. And He gave food to my soul. 

Milk running constantly. We eat and drink. 

And He made the earth a spread. And the sky a ceiling built above. 

What power do I have over myself? What about me is from me? 

Why about rizq for what? When the Creator is sustaining me

Glory be to the One who engulfed us with His bounty. Upon us to Him, praise and gratitude is obligatory. 

He is ever generous with us with His goodness, giving us from the heavens and the earth. 

The earth is the spread of Allah. And I am in the Kingdom of Allah. 

The creation are the dependents of Allah. And I am one of the creations of Allah.

Sustenance is on Allah. We eat from the sustenance of Allah. 

What should I be worried about? My portion will doubtlessly reach me.

نحن في روضة الرسول حضور * طالبين الرضى وحسن قبول
جئنا يا خير مـن إليه الملاذ * بانكسار وذلة وذهول
فاسأل الله فينا كل عناية * لننال المنى في وقت الحلول
لك قدر عظيم ليس يضاهى * ورساله تفوق كل رسول
أنت باب الإله في كل خير * من أتى فاز بالرضى والوصول
كل سر في الأنبيا قد أتاهم * من علاكم مؤيدا بنقول
قد تشفعت في أموري إلاهي * بانبي المشفع المقبول
كل من حط رحله بكريم * نال أقصى المنى و كل السول
قد شكرنا الإله في كل وقت * حيث من بزورة للرسول
وكذاك لكل من في بقيع * من صحاب كذاك نسل البتول
وكذاك لكل زوج و بنت * وابن منجي الانام يوم الحلول
وكذاك لكل من في أحد * من شهيد كذاك عم الرسول
قد طلبنا بهم تمام السلامه * في مسير لأرضنا والدخول
وطلبنا النجاة في يوم حشر * وسلاما من كل فظ جهول
رب صل على النبي وال * وصحاب وتابع بشمول

Here's a quick recording I did earlier in the afternoon.  I often go through this medley of songs to put my kids to bed.  

THIS TRACK IS DOWNLOAD-ENABLED -- PERMISSION IS GIVEN TO ALL FOR DISTRIBUTING FREELY.

It includes a song about the Ahl Al Bayt, which is the first song that I sang to all 5 of my kids at birth, right after the adhan and the iqama.  It has also been my go-to song sung in a lullaby mode for all of them.  I've also included a few lines from the Qasida Burda towards the end. 

I've kept all percussion and harmonizing out of this one and have kept it really simple, so as to have a more calming effect.  The whole track is 17.5 minutes long, so insha'Allah hopefully by the time you get to the end, your little ones will have dozed off to dreamland.
