We are happy to welcome Maceo Plex to Drumcode with the fourth instalment of his Conjure series, ‘Conjure Infinity’. Featuring two tracks ‘Conjure Dreams’ and ‘Conjure Floyd’, both are peak time monsters that introduce two very different elements. ‘Conjure Dreams’ utilises a groovy, melodic bass that is reinforced using tight thumping drums to shatter any dance floor into the universe. ‘Conjure Floyd’ builds into a more ‘heads down’ techno vibe with a very interesting breakdown. Two sure fire tracks to ignite the floor.

In February 2018, ARTBAT are bringing their first full EP release to Diynamic Music. The three-tracker 'Planeta' starts off with the title track 'Planeta', a rapid-fire techno odyssey that might as well be taken from a relentless pursuit in a futuristic action movie.

This is followed by the gloomy bassline of 'Prometheus'. Heavy on percussive elements, the track is divided in half by a cascading synth-break only to return with more layers of percussions, strings and the hypnotic bassline.

Closing off the EP is 'Sand In Your Shoes' featuring London based artist Dino Lenny, who has previously worked with Madonna or Wu-Tang Clan and produced remixes for Underworld, Missy Elliot or Timbaland. The collab track is a dreamy Deep-House tune and a perfectly emotive way to finish the record.

Ignite! The new label from Martin Eyerer & Ackermann. Following their big collaborations on Second State, Get Physical, Kling Klong and Leena, Martin Eyerer and Ackermann launch their new imprint - IGNITE! 

They team up with Thomas Gandey on the label's debut single, an artist who's worked with Coyu and Olivier Giacomotto on labels such as Suara and Stil vor Talent. 'Don't change' has that classic old school Maceo Plex house feel but also includes the forward thinking tech house elements the production duo Eyerer and Ackermann are known for. 

Former editor of Mixmag, DJ legend and Selador label boss Dave Seaman supplies a cool melodic techno rework. It's deep, emotional and hits the spot nicely. 

Whitesquare who's on a run lately with hit releases on Mobilee, 20/20 Vision, Freerange or Gruuv supplies the final remix. Cool stripped back dark beats and the original's haunting vocals work to devastating effect. Essential in every way.

ATLANT follows a landmark year with a fresh innovative approach to stimulate the mind and senses for 2019. Please believe us when we say big plans are ahead, with even bigger music coming for you over the next 12 months.

ATL023 takes us to the southern Italian province of Caserta for further evidence of a thriving Campania music scene as we unleash the sound of Ivan Masa. Ivan lands on ATLANT after just featuring on one of our favourite labels, Monaberry.

Lead cut ‘Vocoder’ is bold in experimentation with it’s whirring electronic lines juxtaposed against piano chords, as a dystopian robotic voice enters. The nagging groove throughout really gets under your skin and draws you in without mercy.

Powered by deep bass pulses ‘Back To School’ takes proceedings firmly onto the dance-floor. With sumptuous and addictive synth lines, crisp punchy beats and killer breakdowns this track is made for a smoke filled room late into the night.

By contrast ‘Guitar Rock’ showcases the compositional side of Ivan’s sound across a journey of floating synth lines, ringing melodies and subtle percussive crashes.

‘Dario’s Trip’ closes the EP with Autobahn inspired electronics and pads, pitched against a driving melody that will last long in the memory after the final beats ride out.

IVAN MASA

Born in Caserta Ivan Masa began his relationship with music at an early age, inheriting a strong passion from his parents. Ivan began experimenting and producing in June 2007, and has gone on to feature on labels like Suara and EIN2.

2018 saw Ivan step things up and take his music to another level, with releases on Kintar’s Sudam Recordings and Super Flu’s über cool imprint Monaberry. We are very pleased to now welcome Ivan Masa to the ATLANT family.

'Returning to Sprout is the amazing Marcus Meinhardt with Rabbit Hole featuring a classy remix from Stereo Express. 

Ever the musical butterfly, Meinhardt makes music that defies genre classification and oozes sophistication. Signed to a disparate array of labels from Kittball to Micro.Fon, he's always in the boxes of the big ticket DJs and never fails to impress. 'Rabbit Hole' opens in fine form with sparse percussion and a bubbling bass line making way for intricate melodic patterns. Growing organically tension builds towards the break with Vangelis-like layers of synthwork adding a futuristic 80s feel. On the remix, Stereo Express take it deeper teasing out the main motifs over two breaks which develops into a monster mid-set groover.'
