Alessandro Parisi is an Italian electronic musician from Pordenone. He is also known as Hesperius Draco and involved in many projects such as Sacrestia del Santissimo Sangue and Dynamite Winter Palace. Alessandro describes his musical style as “Esoteric Disco“. Influenced by baroque and romantic classical music, he has created a blend of retrofuture and dark ritual electronic sound with references to past civilizations, spiritual harmonies and ancient sacred mysteries.

Alessandro's Directive V EP just came out on Frigio Records under his Hesperius Draco moniker.

The late KAGAMI was the producer who sparked the "TOKYO DISCO" phenomenon and reigned over the Japanese techno scene in the early two thousands.  
From his first album "Broken Sequencer", released by Frogman Records in 1998 and which made a huge impact on a bunch of Techno Heads in Japan, the robust techno banger "Hyper Wheels" is refocused by Abend Kollektiv, and revives as "Hyper Wheels Redux".  
This long awaited 2024 version has been remastered and also remixed by DJ SHUFFLEMASTER, known as one of the first generation of the Japanese techno scene, and even includes a remix by KAGAMI's buddy TOKTOK from Berlin. 

ゼロ年代に「TOKYO DISCO」現象を巻き起こし、日本のテクノシーンで圧倒的な存在感を放ったプロデューサー・KAGAMIによる98年発表の1stアルバム「Broken Sequencer」から、テクノバンガー「Hyper Wheels」にabend kollektivが再びフォーカスし、2024年リマスター12インチ「Hyper Wheels Redux」として復活。日本のテクノシーン第1世代として知られるDJ SHUFFLEMASTERがリマスタリングとリミックスを行い、さらにKAGAMIの朋友であるベルリンのテクノユニット、TOKTOKのリミックスも収録。

Elias, a Berlin-based producer and DJ, has been shaping the Techno scene since his early introduction to the genre at age 14 in 2004. Deeply inspired by the sounds of the 90s and 00s, his influences range from Deepchord and Steve Rachmad to Basic Channel and DJ Slip. Producing since 2014, Elias has released music on respected labels such as a.r.t.less, Greyscale, Odd Even, EVOD, Hayes, OHM and Be As One. His 2022 debut LP, Narrative (EVOD Music), highlighted his signature fusion of ambient, breaks, and dub techno, enriched with atmospheric textures and field recordings. A member of the Ungesund Berlin collective since 2022, Elias plays an active role in their podcast series and events, continuously pushing the boundaries of his craft. With several releases and collaborations lined up for 2025, his artistic journey shows no signs of slowing down.

This session was recorded at Gare Porto during his most recent performance at the club, capturing the energy and depth of his music in one of world's most revered venue.

An early Sunday morning club session from Seb H. recorded live from Laak in The Hague. 

Originally hailing from Essex, Seb H. moved to Amsterdam shortly before the implications of Brexit were put in place, living there for two years before moving to Rotterdam, where he still resides. Quickly becoming immersed in the historic local scene, Seb H. has been volunteering at the local radio station Operator since 2021 where he has met lots of inspiring and creative people as well as hosting the station’s in-house radio show, Culture Radio. Documenting the cultural landscape of Rotterdam alongside his co-host Cara, the show shines a spotlight on the city’s music scene and beyond, inviting individuals who are involved with the city’s cultural events/organisations, speaking to them about their experiences, their motivations, the challenges they face and so on. Seb also hosts his own show on the station, Can’t Mix FM, which has been running for just over a year now. More free flowing and a good showcase of the kind of sounds Seb is into, the show also offers one-off artist spotlights such as a recent Shackleton special. As a DJ, his mixes and sets often lean towards the dubby, bassy side of electronic music, whether that’s more techno-leaning or more wonked-out, trippy half time / drum & bass numbers. I managed to catch Seb close out a kinetic party earlier this year and honestly felt like he peered into my soul with what I wanted to listen to at that time; lots of spacey, atmospheric jungle and drum & bass, so I’m super happy to be hosting this live recording on 909 today!

Gracefully kicking off the New Year with the RPN podcast series is Marie Celeste with her signature experimental vinyl only selections. The Ōtautahi based Label head, visual artist, producer and DJ is one powerhouse of experimental punk and poetic visual pleasures. Maries early musical roots rise from London based hardcore bands in the 90s to live rave acts in the early 2000s, now to her more recent solo act as Jaded Nineties Raver.
This contribution showcases not only Marie’s long time passion for dance, electronic and experimental music but the provocation of auditory elements in a sensory experience.

The label "abend kollektiv" was evolved in 2011 from techno party "abend" which started in 1999. 
Our basic colour is TECHNO in the broadest sense of the word, and as long as it's electronic music with a dance element, there are no restrictions on the form of our expression. The tempo of the releases is very gradual. Like an owl on the hunt, if something catches our fancy, we immediately take action, if not, we wait quietly and patiently for the right moment.
