Just a small loop with DADGAD tuning and capo on 7th. This tuning produces such melodious as well as sonorous sounds! 
I wonder how many great songs of 60s/70s must have been played on this!!

This is what I woke up to on Saturday March 12th, 2011. With the wind, rain and the birds outside my studio, this is what came to me... totally freerolling without any beat or rhythm... unbounded!

Bluesy sound with Sharps... using the tape delay to create a feel like East Asian music. With soft 808 beats with acoustic guitars to create a nice silky feel.

Tripping To Far East

I got inspired by the Sufis, and tried to create a sound which is a fusion of Sufi divine love and modern beats. It is B-natural-minor and played on a DADF#AD tuning on the guitar. Brings in some charm of the Irish folk music! Amazing how music unites every culture!

Holiday season for some reason comes with a choir feeling... and so results my first attempt at anything that even remotely sounds classical. All the instruments in this piece are real instruments, I minimized using purely electronic instruments. I hope one day some group plays this with real instruments and real human players!

This is a poem by Mitalee Dabral as part of her Tiny Musings compilation. I out the song to a very traditional American Folk musical style. The poem talks about the days when we will reminisce of good old days, back into the familiar place of our childhood, which in this case happens to be the hills of the Himalayan range. Looking forward to just sitting under the majestic trees, sipping some tea, and just reminiscing with the solitude of a content heart! Hope you enjoy it!
