Handpicked list of tracks that I have made over the last 18 months.

01 - is the last piece of "trip music" I ever made and was completed in one sitting (while tripping of course) in March 2019. Minor alterations have been made subsequently to improve the listening experience but it is almost entirely untouched. 

02 to 04 - was when I was going through a pretty heavy hip-hop phase (all of Sem V). These tracks were all supposed to be beats you could rap to. I was also obsessed with the idea of beat switches during this time.

05 - is the first track that I was genuinely happy with after I learned how to sample.

06 - is my first attempt at dance music and big room house, which I used to listen to a lot when I was in high school. It was conceptualized when I came to Chennai during Diwali 2019.

07 - is a hip-hop inspired track which samples the iconic Tamil song 'Thenpaandi Cheemayile' (full credit to Isaignani Ilayaraaja Sir, pls don't sue me). The idea to sample this song has been around since Sem II during a jam session with DJ (shoutout) and I finally got around to executing it during this lockdown.

08 - samples a classical carnatic music instrument called the 'morsing' which is a sort of jaw harp, and also draws on elements from dance music. It is quite possibly my favorite track in this EP.
