Lyon born @angiomamusic is constantly in a flow. When it’s about keeping the joy for grooves up, his musical style grounds the path between peak time Techno and jacking House music. As for what his entourage likes to call exotic Techno.

@blankamusic - originally from south of Spain, her musical journey started in Barcelona by the age of 18.
Mixing groovy Techno and forward thinking house music, her style moved up strongly and independent when eventually crossing paths and partnering up with Angioma. 

Together they decided to create the well known project @roomfm, with Room Trax as digital and vinyl imprint, and Room Lab as contemporary space for arts with local studios and networking hubs of any kind.

Thus, this week they’re meeting on Conceptual Violence for a special B2B.

On the occasion of the eighth birthday of the Institut für Zukunft we’ve put together our digital compilation "8 C H T". It's once again a cross-genre compilation of artists from our close and extended environment, ranging from hard and hypnotic techno to house and ambient.

Wice (Be As One | Wolfskuil | Steinlach/Weisse Elster | RLSD) / Leipzig

After the first transitions were played in 2008 and the first steps in music production were taken in 2009, Wice developed an unprecedented love for sound, polyrhythm and frequency. More and more it turned out – retrospectively – that this sonic relationship was the perfect means for Wice to subjectively channel his innermost, to introspectively surrender to sound and texture, and to work towards the eventual moment at which he could say: ‘Cool, now I finally have the technical means to externalize all that doesn’t want to be said, merely through frequencies.’ Driven by the insight that there always will be more steps to climb, Wice had to acknowledge that this kind of music will accompany him for a lifetime. In 2017 he finally decided to start his own label ‘Steinlach’ with his good friend Ingo and Wice’s first solo record ‘Hedonism’ was released. Although achieving international success with this release had not been the intended goal, things fortunately turned out differently: Throughout 2017, the track ‘Just Kiddin” was played almost every weekend in well-known clubs and at reputable festivals around the world. With it, Wice even won a golden ‘Raving Spoon’ in the category ‘The Perfect Tracks’. Further releases on Shlomi Aber’s ‘Be As One’, Darko Essers/Tripeo’s ‘Wolfskuil’, Deepa’ and Biri’s ‘Black Crow’ as well as on the in-house label Steinlach followed. The affiliated digital-only sublabel ‘Weisse Elster’ was launched in 2021 with the EP ‘Ape Layers’. WEL002 (‘Seragard’) followed in March 2022. CAT No.003 & 004 are already scheduled for this years late summer respectively winter.

Welcome to DRR Podcast 092, for our second episode of the week we welcome Wetworks/ V.I.T.R.I.O.L. from NYC but now residing ion Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Wetworks was discovered in the mid-2000s by Glenn Wilson, who released Wetworks' first vinyl on The Infamous Punish Label. Glenn has continued to be a mentor and friend throughout his professional career. Along with many techno luminaries such as Mark Broom, Staffan Ehrlin, and other heroes turned peers. 

Friends like these have guided Wetworks through carving a unique path in the techno realm. Each has lent continuous encouragement to release authentic and honest music—matching his outlook to be sonically impactful and able to be felt in the soul. 

As a result, Wetworks has released tracks on respected labels such as GND, Geushky, Compound, Mastertraxx, Player, Dolma, and many more.

Wetworks tracks are percussive, warehouse, and dance floor ready and cultivated with music theory.

2019 marked the return of Wetworks to the harder side of techno, which allowed him to separate his known approach to funky and percussive techno. Instead, it allotted a newer approach to Faster Brutal Hard Techno, still keen on Music Theory and rhythmic practice, with a dash of esoteric overtone.

Wetworks is now a part of the Chicago Jaxxx & Mastoid Kollektive family as their newly inducted A&R and Creative Director.
