passion and talent intertwine. Each person's trajectory, although distinct, led them to a crossroads where their mutual love of music blossomed into a personal and professional union. Their common dream is to perform not only in Mauritius, but also beyond its borders,
taking with them their passion for techno in every performance. ABS and ELS are not just a couple in life; they are a dynamic duo who aspire to share their love for music with the world.

We proudly welcome Rico to the Frequency Squad family with his powerful debut solo EP Hood Fever.

Rooted in the hood of Morocco and shaped by deep personal experiences, Rico blends raw energy, hypnotic grooves, and a unique emotional touch. The original track Hood Fever delivers gritty, tension-filled psytech with subtle cultural undertones.

On remix duty, Timo Lissy delivers a deep and stripped-back psytech interpretation, while Audible Thought pushes into trippy, late-night territory with his hypnotic and driving version.

To close the journey, Nausicaa explores a chilled, glitch-hop dimension that shows another side of Rico’s sound.

Born in 2000, ABS—real name Julian D.A.—found his passion for electronic music at an early age. What began as a personal fascination quickly evolved into a serious artistic pursuit. By 2017, he had already attracted attention from several agencies, marking the start of his professional journey. Over the following years, he immersed himself in the studio, dedicating countless hours to honing his skills and cultivating a signature sound that fuses the deep, driving intensity of PSY-TECH, the raw energy of BUSH techno, and the shadowy textures of Dark Minimal Tech.

Drawing inspiration from the intricate sonic worlds of KEN ZO, ABS’s musical vision is also shaped by influential artists such as Greenwolve, Dragota, Lampé, Miles from Mars, Electrypnose, and Unknown Concept. His DJ sets are characterized by pulsating basslines, immersive atmospheres, and carefully layered rhythms—crafted to evoke emotion and create an evolving, high-impact experience on the dance floor.
