Kiev-born and Paris-raised artist @yyev is debuting on Abîme with ‘Vladimir’, a single serving as a brilliant introduction to their distinctive universe, and the first in a serie of singles to be released on the Parisian label.

Musically, Yeve’s world borrows as much from pop music than experimental rap, and this dichotomy can be found in multiple aspects of their sound. Through the lyrics for instance, with Yeve touching on the most popular theme in music with a very singular angle, dramatic and somehow ritualistic.

Yeve’s introduction wouldn’t be complete without a deep dive into the visual part of their craft, where extravagant outfits and detailed make-up contrast with a raw, aggressive energy displayed by their character in the ‘Vladimir’ official video.

‘Vladimir’, an obvious reference to Yeve’s russian origins, is the first stone laid by Yeve for an artistic career that certainly announces itself as an intense, interesting, and ambivalent journey
