turmoil

a lament for the children suffering from war and violence

this is an experiment in zero-input feedback manipulation. no sound sources were used, just fx plugins.

aleppo

the main "post-rock guitar" drone is u-he zebra2, with extra saturation and distortion by soundtoys decapitator

the atmospheric noises come from various field recording samples, and a radio background noise sample looped throughout from freesound: https://www.freesound.org/people/martinimeniscus/sounds/199414/

some granular resynthesis and copious amounts of reverb complete this soundscape

an improvisation at the edge of silence on the evo grid provided by spitfire's albion v tundra library, which seems especially geared towards ambient music.
