Dub Explorations 102

Boshke Beats present SANCHO MEISO CHAYA, a dub/experimental music project by Shin Sasama. His musical career began in the 90s as a saxophone player in a roots dub band "Cultivator" and a ska band "Cool Wise Man". During that time, he also worked as a music producer for Japanese music. In the early 2000s, he embarked on a solo venture under the name Sancho Meiso Chaya, producing ambient and experimental music. Around the same time, in the 2010s, he initiated another project called "Lo Hype" with Katsuya Sano, creating minimal-house tracks and releasing some tunes through Ibadan Records. Since then, he has been involved in a wide range of projects such as Yuta Chaya with YUTA (Liquid Drop Groove), Chaya & Kojiro (Re:birth Festival), and Sancho Meiso Chaya & Koyas (Psymatics). This is a Live Set recorded at Satoyama 2023, Japan.

The 122nd edition of the Mood Series on Greyscale introduces Italian artist Ercos Blanka with his debut release, 'Seta'. This album is a profound exploration of emotions, blending melancholy with majesty and underscoring its beauty with heavy, aggressive processing.
'Seta' is an immersive journey through sound that begins with 'Glauco,' which draws listeners into a deep, emotional space with its dense, chord-driven atmosphere and subtle echoes of flowing water. The first four tracks from 'Seta' will be available on a limited vinyl dubplate, while the entire album will be accessible digitally. This release marks a compelling debut for Ercos Blanka, showcasing his ability to craft a deeply emotional and beautifully processed work of art.
