Named after I first learned about 'terminal velocity' in school (this is very old!), this track shows the point when I stopped trying to make 'dubstep' as such and accepted that I wouldn't be able to make the same kind of big sounds I heard from major artists in LMMS. I used ZynAddSubFX for the wobbles and I feel like this is a nice track. The quality isn't bad and the melodies are alright. These are native LMMS drums which I edited, I think this is one of the best drum beats in New Heights.

Abludo - Terminal Velocity (09)

This is one of my favourites. Made entirely from ZynAddSubFX (apart from the drum samples)I love the ideas and melodies in here. It's not unpleasant to listen to either. Using background pads and basses with lead instruments, it's a little more advanced than previous tracks, although I had not discovered automation tracks yet.

Abludo - The One (08)

This is my best on this album in terms of melody and music. I have loads of great ideas in this song, which I should really recreate some time in the future. The production of the track overall isn't great, but the chords and melodies work really well together. This is also the longest track I've ever made (written 27/10/2015). A giant stepping stone in learning musical structure for me.

Abludo - In Flight (06)

I am not very proud of this track. It was a very experimental thing for me to do, and LMMS is not the right program for this kind of music. This was good to help me understand that I shouldn't make such horrible music and the spoken sample is me. I used lots of samples from asf3xr (8-bit audio generation website). Fun fact - this took ages because I spent a long time converting the files into wavs, then realised that I only had to put .wav on the end. 
I have learned since then.

Abludo - Explode (05)

I made this song using lots of asf3xr samples (I did not know how to make sounds slide in LMMS at the time). I don't like this song much, it uses generic patterns and tunes, and it's quite boring really.

Abludo - Automotive (04)

This track is really an edit. The original did not contain the first drop but apart from that the rest was the same. This song was inspired by the infamous "Dragon Pirates" by Tut-Tut-Child (because I was 13) and the drops were made with various Skrillex songs in mind (I judge myself too). However the outcome is not too bad and I'm still pretty happy with it. I have not successfully made much dubstep but I would call this pretty good.

This song is made with LB302 in LMMS - using raw samples and no effects. An alright but primitive track that I made while I was on holiday in the Lake District at Easter.

Abludo - Lightning (02)

Using samples found on the internet, I produced a song that I loved so much at the time I listened to it over 300 times. It was so much better than anything else I had ever made, and sounded really good to me. So I decided to call this song and make an album called New Heights, because I was reaching new ground in terms of my music production skills.

Tried to recreate guitar noises. This is an example of me experiencing real music (once I started playing the drums) and trying to make my own (the drum beat is incredibly simple). I used the triple oscillator default preset on LMMS which shows how little I knew. Not great, but hey.

Void (2013)

I was listening to my old music (when I first started out making music back when I had just turned 13 in 2012) and thought that I should make this account and release all of the music that I never uploaded to soundcloud. I feel that someone might be interested at least to hear where I started with LMMS and how my musical knowledge and understanding developed over the first year (there are some songs which get confused) and I hope you enjoy it.
