Ignorance is a Bliss

Started learning how to be a DJ right after watching the performance of Armin Van Burren in Gods Kitchen in Pantai Festival Ancol in 2002, soon he enlisted himself in Crossfader disc Jockey School in North Jakarta followed by private class by DJ Bone in 3rd Floor Studio in Pejaten. Not long afterwards, he began spinning in small private and birthday party all around Jakarta. During his early year as a DJ, most of his music influences are from Hernan Cattaneo, Victor Calderone, Saeed & Palash, Danny Howells, and many more. Progressive and tribal were set to be his music speciality whenever he played.


On 2004, DJ Riri asked him to helped him open his DJ School in Kemang followed by the expanding business of Spinach Records. During that time of year, Abo was contracted by DJ Riri as a member of Spinach DJ and has been Playing in many various of gigs provided by Spinach record ever since such as the 2nd Anniversary of Spinach Record ( Reverberation 2005 ) in Embassy Jakarta, Venue , BC Bar, Stadium , Retro, Wonderbar, Centro and many more.
He also played in clubs outside Jakarta such as Kyokii , Planet 2000, Stusio east & Amnesia - Bandung, Hugos, Boshe – Jogjakarta, Vertical Six Surabaya, Hotel Pangeran beach Padang. On the new year eve of 2008, he played in Liquid Jogja as the main DJ where almost 1300 people attended the show and soon to be his favourite gigs ever since.
