As we are heading towards the heart of this summer we are pleased to share a new episode of the MindTrip Podcast with you. This month Pfirter invites Netherlands-born and Belgium-based DJ and producer JRD. Real name Jordy Roelands he started as a founding member of the Dutch Resistance concept in Antwerp (electro and techno) and later became one of the resident powers at Technoir (techno). Recently he took his first steps into producing his original music, as he did by releasing the track 'Purple Blades' on the Token 97 compilation 'Fuga II' as well as 'The Chaser' on MindTrip's Mutable Minds V compilation.

Ruben Ganev’s sound can be described as very energetic and dynamic but still hypnotic. As a producer and as a DJ, Ruben always tries to maintain a certain groove and atmosphere which brings the listener closer to a club experience and awakens strong desire for relentless dancing and getting lost in rhythm. He recorded a podcast for me, where he included some of his own productions and showcased once again excellent mixing skills and his ability to deliver a quality high intensity experience with a hint of wilderness and hypnosis in it. ://about blank is a multi-room club by Ostrkeuz S-Bahnhof in Friedrichshain. It's a short walk from Salon Zur Wilde Renate, and like that club, it's a lightly renovated re-purposed building with seemingly endless nooks and crannies. There are two main dance floors inside, one tent outside and in the summer DJs play out in the garden (this is open in the winter too, often with a bonfire going). 

The music policy is open-ended but mostly focused on house and techno, with occasional bass or disco nights. The overall atmosphere is gritty, and the parties often go well into the following afternoon or evening.
