This is another fun toon which I hope will get you boppin a bit. It's some tongue in cheek rock n roll / cowpunk relationship counselling from legendary Aussie band the Beasts of Bourbon. Written by guitarist Kim Salmon.

I used my new parlour guitar to play this one. I was quite happy with the jangly chords which I think really suit the tune.

The increase in asylum seekers from the future has become a social problem.
In their world, it seems, one can't choose how to live, and one can no longer die.

They did simple jobs that were inefficient with machines.
Provided a minimal living, but it was only a minimum one.

They are waiting for the end of the world.
Feeling hopeless and taking bitter medicine.

Disconnected from the network for the first time in their lives, they look uneasy.
They have never chosen or made a mistake.
That hinders social participation.

They have no sense of belonging to a country because the borders have changed so many times.

They live in hiding in a society of the past.
Feeling hopeless and taking bitter medicine.

Their presence is a huge financial burden, but sending them back is not easy.
There are humanitarian issues and technical difficulties involved.

They seem normal, except for their use of strange slang.
They don't seem to be very good at expressing their opinions.

They've fled to this age in the hope of degenerating.
