A track I recorded while in quarantine after being contact traced. Originally, I was going to start an entirely different project, but I lost interest. However, I still had this track, and I didn't want to waste it. That's when I figured I could release it as an Above Suburbia song to celebrate the five year anniversary of Shallow being released. So, here it is: the first new Above Suburbia song in around three years. Enjoy!

Someone Out There

I wrote this song because I felt bitter about some people. These people would pretend to like me, but in reality they actually didn't, which makes no sense to me and really hurt me. This song is about letting go of those people and thus ridding myself of an unnecessary burden. I hope you enjoy my first song! It isn't much of a masterpiece, but I feel that it is a good starting point on a hopefully long and fulfilling musical journey.

Written in protest to the rising amount of terrible violence in the world. It needs to stop.
