In 2021, GRAMMY-nominated dance trio Above & Beyond celebrate the 10th anniversary of their critically-acclaimed second studio album, ‘Group Therapy.’ To mark the occasion, an eclectic selection of acts have taken on the challenge of remixing ten iconic tracks from the 2011 album. This cross-genre remix compilation includes an energetic trance rework from ilan Bluestone, a breakbeat remix from Anjunadeep favorite CRi, and stunning house and techno reworks from Kasablanca and Manila Killa who join the Anjunafamily for the first time. Also included on the compilation are two fan-favourite remixes released in 2021 from Oliver Heldens and Spencer Brown, as well as melodic house selections from the likes of Braxton, Shai T, Khen, and Newman (I Love), all lifted from the recent Beatport #1 compilation, '20 Years of Anjunabeats: The Deep Mixes’.

Alongside this digital remix album, Anjunabeats is releasing a limited-edition ’10 Years of Group Therapy: The Singles Collection’ vinyl box set, which sees six iconic singles from the album released on vinyl for the first time: ‘Sun & Moon’ feat. Richard Bedford, ’Thing Called Love’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Love Is Not Enough’ feat. Zoë Johnston, ‘On My Way To Heaven’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Sun In Your Eyes,’ and ‘Prelude’ are included in the box, alongside B-side remixes from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Hybrid Minds, Seven Lions, and GRAMMY award-winning producer William Orbit. The vinyl box set also includes a special ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ slipmat as well as 12”x12” matte-finish prints of each single artwork. This box set is a limited, hand-numbered edition and is expected to ship in summer of 2022. Pre-orders are available now at the Anjuna Music Store. Summer 2021 sees an eclectic selection of house and techno producers take centre stage, reworking nine Above & Beyond hits. ‘The Deep Mixes’ compilation features remixes of singles from Above & Beyond’s debut album ‘Tri-State’, as well as remixes of vocal anthems from their renowned 'Group Therapy’ and ‘We Are All We Need’ albums.

On July 22, A.M.R and Newman (I Love) deliver the eighth and ninth singles from 'The Deep Mixes' compilation. 

A.M.R is the alias of Qatari producer Amr Hachicho. His career began in 2008 with trance releases on Enhanced Recordings, and he immediately gained support from some of the genres biggest names, like Above & Beyond, Armin van Buuren and Tiesto. A decade later, A.M.R switched gears, diving into deeper, progressive sounds with a series of EPs on Monstercat Silk. This year, A.M.R made his Anjunadeep debut with “Central Park”, the emotive closing track from ‘Anjunadeep Explorations 17. Off the back of that release, he took the reins on a coveted ABGT Guest Mix spot (Group Therapy 409).

Producing under his Newman (I Love) alias, Stephan Delacotte is An All Day I Dream label regular best-known for his 10-week chart-topping debut EP, ‘Breath of the Souls.’ He makes his Anjuna debut with a slower-tempo remix of “Love Is Not Enough.” 

“This project started out as a fun experiment when Tony from Above & Beyond discovered my sound and invited me to be a guest on the Deep Set livestream series.  They imagined the vocals of “Love Is Not Enough” on top of my grooves, so they asked me if I would remix the song. They liked my slower tempo and less trancey interpretation so much that this became an official release.” - Newman (I Love)

On 10 December, Anjunabeats label mainstay ilan Bluestone releases his energetic trance rework of ‘Sun & Moon’. With its uplifting melody, bittersweet lyrics, and Richard Bedford’s iconic vocals, ‘Sun & Moon’ has become one of the most beloved singles in the Above & Beyond catalogue. Ilan’s remix first premiered during the trance trio’s headlining set at their sold out Group Therapy 450 show at Drumsheds, London this past September.

At the forefront of progressive and trance for almost a decade, London-based ilan Bluestone made his debut on Anjunabeats in 2012. Producing high-energy trance with heart and soul, his emotional, song-drive approach to dance music has earned him eleven genre chart number 1’s on Beatport and a legion of fans around the world.

Above & Beyond release their long-awaited collaboration with anamē, ‘Gratitude’ (feat. Marty Longstaff) on April 14 through Anjunabeats.

This collaboration marks the debut of anamē: a new alias from Swedish hitmaker Marcus Schössow and production partner Thomas Sagstad. 'Gratitude' also marks the return of Sunderland singer-songwriter Marty Longstaff to Anjunabeats, the voice of Above & Beyond's 'Tightrope' and 'Flying By Candlelight'.

Debuted during Above & Beyond's sold-out London festival at The Drumsheds in 2021, 'Gratitude' is both a jubilant vocal ballad and a tough, dancefloor filler. During Above & Beyond's winter tour, which sold nearly 70,000 tickets across the USA, the significance of this record to the group's dedicated fan community was immediately apparent. It has cemented itself as a future classic for Jono, Tony and Paavo, standing alongside some of their best-loved anthems like 'You Got To Go' and 'Thing Called Love'. 

Marcus Schössow's production resumé is extensive: he's collaborated with all three members of Swedish House Mafia, as well as Bassjackers, and has released on Revealed Records, Spinnin', SIZE, Armada and Axtone. 

More commonly found performing under the moniker The Lake Poets, Marty Longstaff rose to prominence with the moving acoustic ballad ‘Shipyards’. The song accompanies the opening credits to the sleeper hit Netflix documentary, ’Sunderland ’Till I Die’.

Acclaimed electronic duo Kasablanca return to Anjunabeats with 'Dream About You'.

This enigmatic melodic techno duo exploded onto the scene in summer 2020 with their Lane 8 collaboration, 'Run', a bonafide hit for both artists. As of October 2022, it’s been streamed over 22 million times on Spotify and charted at #1 on SiriusXM BPM. ‘Run’ was followed by their debut album 'Human Learning', and a standout collaboration with Bob Moses, 'Afterglow'. They've enjoyed extensive support on their releases from Vintage Culture, The Chainsmokers, Above & Beyond, Pete Tong, Don Diablo, Oliver Heldens, and many more.

In December 2021, they joined us at Anjunabeats, remixing Above & Beyond's 'Black Room Boy' as part of the '10 Years of Group Therapy' celebrations. Their first original music on the label arrived soon after: the three-track 'Immunity EP' was released in March 2022. The title track ‘Immunity’ was playlisted on Diplo’s Revolution station on Sirius XM, and was described as “a sleekly propulsive slice of melodic techno” by Billboard. Their latest offering 'Dream About You' was premiered by Above & Beyond on their Anjunabeats Volume 16 mix compilation in July 2022.

The duo debuted their live show, replete with racks of modular synthesisers, at Red Rocks Amphitheater in September 2021 while supporting US bass superstar Rezz. They've thrilled crowds across the globe, including at our Group Therapy Weekender festival at Dockyards London - their first-ever UK headline show. Kasablanca are currently on tour with deadmau5 and NERO, visiting San Francisco, Austin and Boston over the coming months with some massive shows locked in for 2023.

UK drum & bass outfit Hybrid Minds remix Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘Love Is Not Enough’ from the acclaimed 2011 album, ‘Group Therapy’. 

Stars of the drum and bass scene, Hybrid Minds are Josh White and Matt Lowe. Through their own Hybrid Music imprint, they’ve released huge vocal anthems such as ‘Touch’, ‘Drowning In You’, ‘Higher Love’ and their 2020 release ‘Don’t Ever’ with DRS. Their latest release - a collaboration with Netsky, ‘Let Me Hold You’, was released on Hospital Records just last month and has already received over 2 million streams. 

Currently hosting a weekly radio show on the national station KISS FM in the U.K., Josh and Matt have been a prolific touring outfit in recent years, with festival performances at Outlook, Hideout and El Dorado festival and virtual performances for Glastonbury and SW4 for 2020. Spencer first appeared on Anjunabeats with ‘Wannamaker’ in 2016. His productions blur the lines between deep house, progressive and trance, earning a place in the record bags of top flight artists Above & Beyond, deadmau5, Calvin Harris and Sasha.

‘Sun In Your Eyes’ was originally released on Above & Beyond’s 2011 album ‘Group Therapy’, which celebrates its tenth anniversary this year. One of Above & Beyond’s most popular instrumental pieces, ‘Sun In Your Eyes’ has had a new lease on life, with Jamie XX and Grimes recently supporting the track. It was remastered for Above & Beyond’s 2019 ambient album ‘Flow State’, which has generated over 135 million streams to date. Spencer’s remix has been a secret weapon in his live shows for years, and is the first remix of the track to be officially released as a single.

Spencer’s second mix album, ‘Stream of Consciousness’, was released on Anjunabeats in January 2020. Last year also saw Spencer team up with ALPHA 9 on ‘Ariel / Afterlife’ and with Anjunadeep’s Ben Böhmer on the ‘Phases EP’.

Acclaimed producer and DJ Oliver Heldens joins the Anjunafamily with a new remix of Above & Beyond’s ’Thing Called Love’ (feat. Richard Bedford), lifted from Above & Beyond’s beloved 2011 studio album ‘Group Therapy’.

With several No. 1 hits and over two billion streams to his name, Oliver Heldens is a true superstar of our scene. Considered the founding father of ‘future house’, his breakout hit ‘Gecko’ featuring Becky Hill lit up the UK Top 40 charts in 2013. It propelled Oliver to festival mainstages across the globe and earned him a prestigious residency slot on BBC Radio 1.
