In 2021, GRAMMY-nominated dance trio Above & Beyond celebrate the 10th anniversary of their critically-acclaimed second studio album, ‘Group Therapy.’ To mark the occasion, an eclectic selection of acts have taken on the challenge of remixing ten iconic tracks from the 2011 album. This cross-genre remix compilation includes an energetic trance rework from ilan Bluestone, a breakbeat remix from Anjunadeep favorite CRi, and stunning house and techno reworks from Kasablanca and Manila Killa who join the Anjunafamily for the first time. Also included on the compilation are two fan-favourite remixes released in 2021 from Oliver Heldens and Spencer Brown, as well as melodic house selections from the likes of Braxton, Shai T, Khen, and Newman (I Love), all lifted from the recent Beatport #1 compilation, '20 Years of Anjunabeats: The Deep Mixes’.

Alongside this digital remix album, Anjunabeats is releasing a limited-edition ’10 Years of Group Therapy: The Singles Collection’ vinyl box set, which sees six iconic singles from the album released on vinyl for the first time: ‘Sun & Moon’ feat. Richard Bedford, ’Thing Called Love’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Love Is Not Enough’ feat. Zoë Johnston, ‘On My Way To Heaven’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Sun In Your Eyes,’ and ‘Prelude’ are included in the box, alongside B-side remixes from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Hybrid Minds, Seven Lions, and GRAMMY award-winning producer William Orbit. On July 8, Anjunadeep regulars Braxton and Jon Gurd deliver the fourth & fifth singles from 'The Deep Mixes' compilation.

Braxton is a rising talent from Brighton in the UK. He’s had radio support in over 30 countries with spins on top stations like BBC Radio 1, SiriusXM, and Kiss FM and is responsible for Anjunadeep’s favourites “Chiaroscuro” and “Indigo”. Braxton’s debut EP on Anjunadeep, entitled ‘Indigo’, dropped earlier in 2021.

Braxton has delivered a lush, breakbeat remix of ‘Eternal’, the cinematic closing track from Above & Beyond’s acclaimed 2011 album ‘Group Therapy’.

“The ‘Group Therapy’ album was one of my favourites from Above & Beyond, so I’ve been wanting to do a remix like this for about ten years. ‘Eternal’ is a hugely nostalgic track, so getting the opportunity to remix it was super exciting and something I couldn’t wait to share.” - Braxton

Veteran DJ and producer Jon Gurd came up in the UK underground in the early 2000s. A resident at Bournemouth’s legendary Slinky, he toured alongside Mauro Picotto and Paul Van Dyk and collaborated with Drumcodes Alan Fitzpatrick and Reset Robot. His LP ‘Lion’, was released in 2020 on Anjunadeep to critical acclaim, with a proportion of the sales going to a UK charity supporting children with epilepsy.

GRAMMY-nominated electronic trio Above & Beyond present the 16th edition of the iconic Volume series, arriving July 22 on their Anjunabeats imprint.

Featuring 33 tracks over two discs, Anjunabeats Volume 16 features exclusive new music from 30+ artists, both fresh and familiar to Anjunabeats fans. Sketched on the road and in Jono, Tony and Paavo's London studio over the past year, this new mixed compilation showcases the direction of Anjunabeats over the next 18 months.

Label stalwarts ilan Bluestone, Andrew Bayer, Gabriel & Dresden, Genix, Oliver Smith, Sunny Lax and Maor Levi all contribute. Ilan's first outing after the release of his album ‘Impulse’ is an exquisite rolling groover with BT, 'Run'. Andrew Bayer returns with not one but two albums this summer, each side reflecting the ‘Duality’ of his art – ‘On Tape’ is Bayer’s contribution to Volume 16 and it demands to be played as loud as possible. 

Some experienced veterans make their Anjuna debut: there’s a contribution from Conjure One and Sinéad O'Connor (infamous for ‘Tears From The Moon’), while legendary house-head Fred Falke is on remix duty, adding an extra French touch to Mat Zo and OLAN's 'Colours' from Mat's 'Illusion of Depth' album.



Five graduates of the Rising EP series also feature, plus a handful of up-and-comers including ANUQRAM, anamē and Simon Gregory. The captivating Kasablanca also have their first Volume outing, fresh off their stunning 'Immunity EP' and a remix of Above & Beyond's 'Black Room Boy'.

And that brings the story back to A&B’s Hello Studios in Bermondsey. Four of the records debuted at ABGT450 last year feature on Volume 16, although two now take an entirely different direction. ‘Screwdriver’ has received a deeper treatment from Jono, while Oliver Smith reworks ‘Gratitude’. ‘Projection’, an ID from their ABGT450 set, has been tweaked and tightened on the road over the last few months, as has ‘Chains’ featuring Marty Longstaff. Plus, two excursions from A&B operations: there's a contribution from Jono's brand new project with Darren Tate, JODA (retouched by PROFF), and Paavo's resurrected P.O.S alias.

Above & Beyond's latest dance anthem, 'Chains' (feat. Marty Longstaff), is out August 18 through Anjunabeats.

Premiered during the band's Group Therapy 450 celebration at The Drumsheds London last September, 'Chains' is Above & Beyond's second single of 2022 with singer Marty Longstaff, following the release of 'Gratitude'.

'Chains' has been a mainstay in Above & Beyond's sets this past year, played extensively during their 70,000 ticket-selling Anjunafamily Reunion Tour and at festivals across the US and Europe this summer. The band recently headlined their Group Therapy Weekender festival at The Gorge Amphitheatre, WA, which welcomed 22,000 revellers. 

'Chains' is one of two original Above & Beyond productions to appear on their Anjunabeats Volume 16 compilation, alongside 'Projection'. 

Also performing as The Lake Poets, Marty Longstaff rose to prominence with the moving acoustic ballad ‘Shipyards’. The song accompanies the opening credits to the sleeper hit Netflix documentary, ’Sunderland ’Till I Die’. Multiple GRAMMY award-winning writer, composer, producer, and performer William Orbit is considered a pioneer of electronic music and one of contemporary pop’s most innovative artists. In a career spanning 40 years, William Orbit's influence is insurmountable. Producing some of pop music’s most seminal records - Madonna’s ‘Ray Of Light’ and ‘MDNA’, Blur’s ‘13’, Robbie Williams’ ‘Rudebox’, Finley Quaye’s ‘Dice’, Pink’s ‘Feel Good Time’ and All Saints’ ‘Testament’ to name a few - he has won three GRAMMY Awards and been nominated a further five times, with work on albums by U2, Britney Spears, Beth Orton, Queen and Michael Jackson.

William has crossed paths with Above & Beyond and the Anjunafamily before. Above & Beyond kick off the second half of their ’10 Years of Group Therapy’ celebrations with one of Anjunabeats' earliest signings, Maor Levi. 

‘With Your Hope’ is longtime collaborator Richard Bedford’s vocal accompaniment to the classic instrumental ‘Hope’ from Above & Beyond’s ’Tri-State’ album. It was released on a bonus track version of the ‘Group Therapy’ album in 2011, exclusively on Amazon Music. Now, the track sees its first worldwide release on all stores with Maor Levi’s remix, debuted during Above & Beyond’s headline set at last year’s Group Therapy 450 festival at The Drumsheds London. 

Maor has been a semi-regular contributor to Anjunabeats since 2006, and in that time he has helped to define the modern sound of the label. Maor first signed to Anjunadeep at the age of 15 with 'Lital', before jumping across to Anjunabeats. He's since produced a continuous stream of club hits for the label including classics like ‘Reflect’, ‘Shapes’ and ‘Won’t Say No’.

In 2021, GRAMMY-nominated dance trio Above & Beyond kicked off the 10th-anniversary celebrations of their critically-acclaimed second studio album, ‘Group Therapy.’ To mark the occasion, an eclectic selection of acts took on the challenge of remixing ten iconic tracks from the 2011 album. The first part of this cross-genre remix compilation included reworks from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Spencer Brown, CRi, Kasablanca, Manila Killa and more.
For part two of the ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ celebrations, twelve more remixers have stepped up to the plate, including Maor Levi, William Orbit, Fehrplay, Nourey, Etherwood and more. The package also includes Sunny Lax’s mix of ‘Sun In Your Eyes’, the closing track on Anjunabeats Volume 15, and Blastoyz’ psy-trance remix of ‘Sun & Moon’, played by Above & Beyond in their Group Therapy 400 celebrations.

Alongside these digital remix albums, Anjunabeats is releasing a limited-edition ‘10 Years of Group Therapy: The Singles Collection’ vinyl box set, which sees six iconic singles from the album released on vinyl for the first time: ‘Sun & Moon’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Thing Called Love’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Love Is Not Enough’ feat. Zoë Johnston, ‘On My Way To Heaven’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Sun In Your Eyes,’ and ‘Prelude’ are included in the box, alongside B-side remixes from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Hybrid Minds, Seven Lions, and William Orbit. UK drum & bass outfit Hybrid Minds remix Above & Beyond and Zoë Johnston’s ‘Love Is Not Enough’ from the acclaimed 2011 album, ‘Group Therapy’. 

Stars of the drum and bass scene, Hybrid Minds are Josh White and Matt Lowe. Through their own Hybrid Music imprint, they’ve released huge vocal anthems such as ‘Touch’, ‘Drowning In You’, ‘Higher Love’ and their 2020 release ‘Don’t Ever’ with DRS. Their latest release - a collaboration with Netsky, ‘Let Me Hold You’, was released on Hospital Records just last month and has already received over 2 million streams. 

Currently hosting a weekly radio show on the national station KISS FM in the U.K., Josh and Matt have been a prolific touring outfit in recent years, with festival performances at Outlook, Hideout and El Dorado festival and virtual performances for Glastonbury and SW4 for 2020. As well as an Ibiza residency scheduled and a forthcoming UK tour including a headline show at London's Brixton Academy in 2021. 

Sharing Above & Beyond’s love for orchestral arrangements and softly spoken lyrics, Hybrid Minds were a natural fit to rework a classic from the British trio, who celebrate 20 years of their label Anjunabeats this year.
