Lifted from the forthcoming album 'Unreality', Grum shares an 80s-inspired single 'Don't Look Down', featuring Natalie Shay.

There’s a considered and conscientious edge to every record that comes from the studio of Graeme Shepherd, a.k.a. Grum. Strip away the club exterior and you will find a nuanced, sometimes provocative, message that asks us to challenge our outlook on the world.

Progressive house connoisseur, Deep State label head and Anjunabeats stalwart, June 24 sees the release of his fourth artist album, ‘Unreality’; his most reflective work to date, putting human connection in the digital age under the microscope. 

“This is about remembering our humanity, which perhaps we lost a little bit over the last couple of years - maybe we can get a bit of it back in the dark, under some strobe lights.” 

A story in two halves, the album is introspective, ideas-driven and song heavy, holding a mirror to Graeme’s own emotional journey over the last two years. 

“The first half mostly came about in the summer of 2020. With all that time on my hands, and as a form of therapy, I started rediscovering a lot of 80s music I loved and hadn’t listened to for a long time. This turned into doing special 80s livestreams to connect with my fans. There is definitely a bit of longing here for simpler and happier times.” Grum explains. “The second half of the album has a darker, apocalypse rave feel to it”.

Designed for the darkest of dance floors, lead single ‘Disconnected’ featuring Daniel Sealine provides one of those cataclysmic moments; a techno infused helter-skelter ride with Daniel’s vocal bursting out of the shadows.

Grum embarks on phase one of his ‘Unreality’ tour this summer, stage one including 18 dates across North America with shows in San Francisco, Las Vegas, Chicago, Toronto and more.

Above & Beyond close out the second half of their ’10 Years of Group Therapy’ celebrations with a remix from UK drum and bass mainstay Etherwood. The Hospital records regular takes the reins on ‘Giving It Out’ from Above & Beyond's seminal Group Therapy album, which features vocals from longtime collaborator Zoë Johnston. 

Etherwood never fails to offer up groundbreaking remixes of iconic tracks: from Lana Del Rey’s ‘Video Games’ to Gorgon City’s ‘Ready for Your Love’, Fred V & Grafix’s ’Forest Fires’, and Rag’n’Bone Man & Pink’s ‘Anywhere Away from Here’. A regular feature on Hospital Records, his studio albums ‘Etherwood’ and ‘Blue Leaves’ peaked at #4 and #3 in the UK Dance Charts, and his top five tracks on Spotify have over 20m combined streams. Nearly a decade on from his debut release, Etherwood continues to be in high demand on club circuits worldwide, with upcoming shows Depot Mayfield, Motion, Marble Factory, and Dreamland Margate.

In 2021, GRAMMY-nominated dance trio Above & Beyond kicked off the 10th-anniversary celebrations of their critically-acclaimed second studio album, ‘Group Therapy.’ To mark the occasion, an eclectic selection of acts took on the challenge of remixing ten iconic tracks from the 2011 album. The first part of this cross-genre remix compilation included reworks from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Spencer Brown, CRi, Kasablanca, Manila Killa and more.

For part two of the '10 Years of Group Therapy' celebrations, twelve more remixers have stepped up to the plate, including Maor Levi, William Orbit, Fehrplay, Nourey, Etherwood and more. The package also includes Sunny Lax's mix of 'Sun In Your Eyes', the closing track on Anjunabeats Volume 15, and Blastoyz' psy-trance remix of 'Sun & Moon', played by Above & Beyond in their Group Therapy 400 celebrations.

Alongside these digital remix albums, Anjunabeats is releasing a limited-edition ‘10 Years of Group Therapy: The Singles Collection’ vinyl box set, which sees six iconic singles from the album released on vinyl for the first time: ‘Sun & Moon’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Thing Called Love’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Love Is Not Enough’ feat. Zoë Johnston, ‘On My Way To Heaven’ feat. Richard Bedford, ‘Sun In Your Eyes,’ and ‘Prelude’ are included in the box, alongside B-side remixes from ilan Bluestone, Oliver Heldens, Hybrid Minds, Seven Lions, and William Orbit. The vinyl box set also includes a special ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ slipmat as well as 12"x12" matte-finish prints of each single artwork. This box set is a limited, hand-numbered edition and is expected to ship in autumn of 2022. Pre-orders are available now at the Anjuna Music Store. Every box set comes with a digital download of the original album and all remixes on the ‘10 Years of Group Therapy’ digital compilation.

"Man Of The Moment" is a term often used, but we feel there is absolutely no other way of describing the young Russian right now. Since his remix of Ferry Tayle & Static Blue's Trapeze and Tritonal's Utopia, Arty has been the producer everyone wants, and subsequent remixes for the likes of the scenes biggest names, Above & Beyond, Kyau & Albert and Paul van Dyk, and his Beatport No. 1 remix of D-Mad on Enhanced Progressive has cemented his position at the top of the newcomers from the past year. Back on Enhanced Progressive with another brilliant Original, Arty turns out two versions of Twilight Tonight. The Original Mix falls in a similar vein to that of his last two EP's on Enhanced, whilst the Arty Remode vamps up the atmosphere with Arty's trademark power chords with rich pads and synths sending the emotion into orbit. Remixes come from two of Enhanced Prog's favourites, MoodFreak and D-Mad. MoodFreak makes a welcome return after a lengthy hiatus, and he doesn't disappoint as he pushes the track towards the progressive house pigeonhole with his sparkly synths and groovy bottom end. D-Mad rips up the rulebook and goes for an entirely fresh approach from his usual style, combining stabby synths and bleepy melodies with the wonkiest bassline we've heard in a while!
