Norway’s Akki Hisham and the UK’s Matt Allen joined forces in 2011 to become C-Systems and set about making their mark on the Trance and Progressive Scene. The duo have releases on Enhanced, Unearthed and Alter Ego as well as a string of remixes and big name DJ support including air time on ASOT. We’re excited to bring you their next release here on Essentializm, a progressive Vocal Trancer featuring the talented Hanna Finsen.

Hanna is coming off a big release with Emanuele Braveri in ‘Your Land’ and has wasted no time getting another release under her belt. ‘Where Do I Belong’ is the end result of this international collaboration with the C-System boys bringing an expertly produced track full of progressive vibe and atmosphere and Hanna providing a light, airy vocal line perfectly rounding out the mix.

As Solid Stone proudly became the first artist responsible for a full album on Coldharbour Recordings through the release of Introspection, one track in particular captured the immediate and long-lasting attention of fans worldwide - the dark yet touching Heart Call. 

A familiar collaborative voice on previous Solid Stone compositions, his good friend Jennifer Rene shines through the emotions behind the words, with many citing the piece as a contender for track of 2016. Already receiving extensive support from Markus Schulz, Above & Beyond, Ferry Corsten, Giuseppe Ottaviani and many others, the original will find a proud place on radio and in the clubs. 

The remixes are no less outstanding, with progressive master Jerome Isma-Ae, having a stellar year in his own right, adding a dark, driving and somewhat sinister approach. And for melodic trance lovers, New York native Monoverse presents Heart Call in a more energetic case, whilst maintaining the soul of the original. 

The echoes of Heart Call will ring throughout the remainder of 2016. And on reflection, it may go down as a seminal piece for the ages.

Above & Beyond - Trance Around The World 400 (2011-11-26)

As OceanLab, Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa have had an incredible year. Their debut album "Sirens Of The Sea" gained widespread critical acclaim, including glowing reviews from Mixmag, DJ Magazine, M8 and IDJ. 

Now they return to close 2008 with "Breaking Ties", their third single from the album. First to the remix platform and fresh from their success in DJ Magazine's Top 100 poll where they achieved the highest British entry at No.4, are Above & Beyond themselves, who have produced a truly sublime club re-work with their "Analogue Haven Mix". Demand for this remix has been off the scale since it made its debut on Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats Volume Six compilation. 

On the b-side of the vinyl release we have a remix from star German producer Martin Roth who delivers his own unique sound once more. Mr Roth is no stranger to remixing OceanLab releases having worked with them on their last single "Miracle".  This mix builds up gradually, first paying homage to the dreamy vocals of Justine Suissa before dropping in the familiar Roth beats. 

To complete the CD and Digital package we have a masterful techy remix from Duderstadt, a deep and melodic Maor Levi remix and a fantastic progressive rework from Jaytech and James Grant, who prove themselves to be a production duo to be reckoned with. There really is something for everyone in this package.
