As OceanLab, Above & Beyond and Justine Suissa have had an incredible year. Their debut album "Sirens Of The Sea" gained widespread critical acclaim, including glowing reviews from Mixmag, DJ Magazine, M8 and IDJ. 

Now they return to close 2008 with "Breaking Ties", their third single from the album. First to the remix platform and fresh from their success in DJ Magazine's Top 100 poll where they achieved the highest British entry at No.4, are Above & Beyond themselves, who have produced a truly sublime club re-work with their "Analogue Haven Mix". Demand for this remix has been off the scale since it made its debut on Above & Beyond's Anjunabeats Volume Six compilation. 

On the b-side of the vinyl release we have a remix from star German producer Martin Roth who delivers his own unique sound once more. Mr Roth is no stranger to remixing OceanLab releases having worked with them on their last single "Miracle".  This mix builds up gradually, first paying homage to the dreamy vocals of Justine Suissa before dropping in the familiar Roth beats. 

To complete the CD and Digital package we have a masterful techy remix from Duderstadt, a deep and melodic Maor Levi remix and a fantastic progressive rework from Jaytech and James Grant, who prove themselves to be a production duo to be reckoned with. There really is something for everyone in this package.

This year, OceanLab, the project featuring Above & Beyond and singer/songwriter Justine Suissa spent several weeks holed up in a villa there finishing their debut album, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’.

Seeped in Balearic brilliance, ‘Sirens Of The Sea’ is a mix of blissed out epics and dancefloor cuts. Two of Anjunabeats’ most prolific talents return, both riding high on the ABGT350 wave as ilan Bluestone & Spencer Brown join forces for a formidable new EP.

Named after one of ilan's resident felines, the one-two punch of ‘Pooperling’ fuses together Spencer’s progressive sound with ilan’s infamous ‘tronce’ plucks, whilst the title track ‘Gatekeeper’ - a crowdpleaser from both ilan and Spencer's gargantuan ABGT350 sets - continues in similar fashion whilst embracing more haunting elements. The EP rounds off with ’Steelyard’, a melodic take on the industrial techno formula, and a sought-after ID from Spencer’s set at the Anjunabeats Creamfields Steelyard show last year.

Continuing to redefine and reinvigorate the sound of trance and progressive music, Grum finally pulls back the curtain on ‘Deep State’, his brand new artist album out now on Anjunabeats.

Reflecting the unsettling times we live in, ‘Deep State’ has moments of light and dark. It’s a showcase of Grum’s ability to craft pitch-black progressive and immersive vocal pop. The 10-track album is a refined take on the current state of progressive trance.

With tinges of classic trance and 90’s rave culture across the record, Grum embraces vintage dance floor ideas in a thoroughly modern way. Acid-edged summer hit ‘Stay’ introduces Natalie Shay to the dance music world, also lending her voice to the anthemic LP closer ‘Afterglow’. ‘Running’ sees Grum partner with the soulful voice of London’s Jinadu, while Dom Youdan muses on the monotony of modern life with ‘Tomorrow’. ‘Home’, featuring Nicole Dash Jones, provides a deeper moment the mix, before the intensity of ‘Genesis’ and ‘Altered State’ take over.

Featuring three records that have soundtracked Above & Beyond milestone Group Therapy celebrations over the decade, Jono, Paavo and Tony close 2019 with the ‘Out Of Time’ EP. 

A sought after fan favourite, debuted during ABGT100 live from Madison Square Garden, ‘Out Of Time’ was the final track finished for 2015’s ‘We Are All We Need’. While the club rework has percolated among A&B mixes over the last 5 years, the remastered extended mix and edit are now available for the first time.

Another record that has evolved throughout its life time, ‘Is It Love?’ first aired during ABGT200 in Amsterdam’s Ziggo Dome as the instrumental ‘1001'. With Jono himself providing a 80’s indie-electronica vocal for the track's appearance on ‘Common Ground’, the ‘Is It Love?’ club mix has become a euphoric moment in the trio's sets since 2017. 

Completing the package is the return of an iconic Richard Bedford vocal, played first at Group Therapy 250 and then featuring on this year's Anjunabeats Volume 14 compilation, the Gorge Update of Above & Beyond ‘Alone Tonight’.
