almost two years ago now, deeply depressed, struggling with addiction, ptsd, money problems and had just lost my job in a down sizing.  I had had enough. My wife walked in when I was on 7 of 10 of my count down.  She was supposed to be on her way to her parents house with the kids for a week. She forgot her sun glasses. She closed the door, put the gun on her lap and called her sister to come get the kids. I've never cried so hard. After 10 months in a treatment facility and countless hours in therapy and groups and every thing we could think of im finally back to feeling okay. almost 2 years clean and sober and I got an even better job.  my wife saved me in my darkest hour. I was in the dark and supremely alone (even though i really wasn't) She never let me go until she knew I'd be safe. I've never known such love. this song broke me. cried like a baby. then went and kissed my wife and kids. they're all i need.
