This song is a tribute to one of my closest friends Danni-Victoria Russell who was taken from us on 8/1/12 at only 21 years old in one of three tragic car accidents that occurred in Calgary, Canada in that same weekend just over a month ago.

Hailing from Birmingham, UK, Danni was an amazingly uplifting, positive, aspiring and driven young lady who moved over to Canada a couple of years ago to live with her family. She was also a very gifted make-up artist, working towards opening her very own beauty studio with a friend.

Danni left a lasting impression and a smile on every single person who had the pleasure of meeting, and was a constant inspiration to those of us who had the honour of being close to her, friends and family alike.
mp, for sorting me out with studio time and being an absolute legend to work with.

Most of all, I want to thank Danni. You inspired me to get my arse in gear and actually start chasing my dreams, you will always be a constant source of inspiration to me. This is just the beginning.

So as you can probably gather, this was before we decided to change the name again to Above Bar! But here's a little interview and a couple of live performances we did during last years Freshers Week for Radio Sonar!
