'Moment' is a project shared by Rocco Tetro and Michele Fazio. The Original Mix was the first version created, influenced by modern Afro sounds. Then they added more groove and percussive elements which resulted in the second version and Club Mix. Initially both instrumentals, Rocco and Michele decided to embellish both tracks with the sweet voice of Kali Mija. Here is result and IWR089.

Alegría reimagined for a new generation

Nearly 30 years and more than 5,000 performances after its creation, Cirque du Soleil's Alegría continues to dazzle the imagination of millions of people. 

One of the key elements of its success is undoubtedly its soundtrack; 
more specifically, the show's eponymous song, composed by René Dupéré, with the unique and sweet voice of Francesca Gagnon, which today has hundreds of millions of listens around the world.

With the new remixes of the song Alegría, Cirque du Soleil founder Guy Laliberté allows a whole new generation to discover the or rediscover what makes Alegría a show full of color and emotion.

New approach, same passion.

Although his time behind the decks has increased in recent years, the Cirque du Soleil founder's passion for music and the creative process that goes along with it is not new. 

Since he was 14 years old, he has been interested in and immersed
in different musical trends. 
Throughout his career as an avant-garde producer, Guy Laliberté has taken advantage of a multitude of platforms to present a host
of talented young artists and contribute to the development of almost all the soundtracks for Cirque du Soleil shows.

Today, Guy Laliberté shares his love of music through a variety of special events and festivals. 

Alegría's remix allows spectators to recall fond memories and thrill
electronic music fans while paying tribute to a rich history and to outstanding composers, singers and musicians.

El Maar is an upcoming DJ and producer born in 1998. in Travnik, Bosnia and Herzegovina but raised in Dubrovnik, Croatia. El Maar's sound is a unique blend of deep house, melodic house, and afro house, often featuring dark, deep and vibey atmospheres. Most of his discography was released on 'The First Call' Records where he works as A&R manager. One of the most significant achievements of El Maar's career so far is being named the resident DJ at the 20th best club in the world according to DJ Mag - Culture Club Revelin, where he is known for his dynamic and captivating sets. At only 25 years old, El Maar has already achieved so much, but he's not slowing down any time soon. He continues to produce and play music, always striving to take his sound to the next level. With his passion and dedication, there is no doubt that El Maar will continue to be a force to be reckoned with in the electronic music scene for years to come. PROCESS OF MAKING 'AFRUALE': The creation of 'Afruale' began with focusing on percussion, which was key for setting up the rhythm. I spent a lot of time experimenting with different percussion elements until I found the right groove that would drive the track forward. Once the rhythm felt solid, I moved on to adding basslines. It was important to find ones that complemented the percussion, adding depth and energy to the evolving soundscape. One of my signature touches in most of my tracks is incorporating mystic elements like ethereal pads and ambient vocals. In 'Afruale,' these elements help create a deep atmosphere. After establishing the rhythm and adding in the mystic elements, I turned to synthesizers for the final touches. Using the JP-8 synthesizer, I experimented with different sounds until I found ones that fit the track perfectly. This process of intuition and creativity helped elevate 'Afruale' to its full potential.

Harry Charles continues his streak of releases for 2025 with the new singles, ‘Zero Zero’, embracing a deep house vibe and a continued shift towards a more energetic and uplifting mood.

‘Zero Zero’ is the second release of a batch of songs created specifically for live performances. Incorporating an almost chant-like vocal refrain, the track aims for both sunrise and sunset moments, with a vibe that is perfect for both the beginning and the end of a night.

'Today announces the inaugural release of a new label, Immersed. From the East Coast of the United States, Immersed promotes deep house and deep progressive house. These two sub-genres have become immense in the underground house scene and can be seen on our first release, Clouded.

Original artist David Saffran (Gambitt) was born and raised in Asheville, N.C. where he spent most of his early life learning music. He attended music production school, Tin Pan Alley Studios, in New York City for five years and is classically trained as a pianist and singer. Gambitt has no official releases to his name yet, but his close friendship with Immersed has landed him the role of official A&R. Gambitt’s track Clouded plans to set the standard for the label, presenting driving melodies, rich sound design and moving basslines.

First on remix duty is respected progressive house artist, Antrim. Founder of Or Two Strangers and hailing from the center of the Argentinian progressive scene, Guillermo Cornejo has released on some of the most respected labels, such as Sudbeat and Hope Recordings. Antrim’s sound is widely recognizable with his layered melodies and groovy percussive drums. His signature sound is present on this remix, being amplified to please those looking for a groovier rendition.

On final remix, duty is Argentinian progressive duo, Analog Jungs. Claudio Cornejo and Gustavo Ruarte are teamed up as one of the most recognized aliases in deep progressive house. Their music has been heard all over the world, played out by Hernan Cattaneo, Jody Wisternoff, Nick Warren and many more. Known for their combination of minimalistic melodies and catchy grooves, Analog Jungs delivers captivating creativity.'

We are both very happy to welcome back Marino Canal on Siamese. Everyone remembers his first record for us well, a timeless yet forward thinking and fresh release that's tough to beat. Marino made it possible though, his upcoming `Provenance` EP is a clear evolution of his style, mature, intelligent and ready for 2020.

'Curious Eyes' is the track we received first. We’re playing it since quite a while and it easily stood the test of time. Marino’s gift of creating energetic and powerful yet lush tracks is very unique and this song surely tells a story. Truly a great piece of modern dance music. 

Next is ‚Provenance‘, the title track of the EP. Similar to 'Curious Eyes‘ it starts gentle while giving the selector some time and space for mixing
and creating something artful while playing this out. As the deep and mellow chords soak you into the track the remaining layers are steering towards the climax where ‚Provenance' reveals its full potential. And before its even finished you want to hear it all over again.

'Dreamt of Tomorrow‘, the final cut of the release makes it even harder to pick a favorite and we're considering if we should have kept at least one track for the next
EP. Kidding aside, there’s nothing stopping Marino’s ever evolving expertise and this track resembles how a dream of tomorrow could feel like. Beauty, hope and kindness on one hand, madness, destruction and anger on the other. A perfect way to close a great record and there could be no better entry into 2020 for Siamese.

To be inspired by something, or somewhere, or someone, without actually being there, meeting them, well, that’s the stuff of dreams and aspirations, or perhaps a transcendental parallel universe at play?  DSF’s new single for ABRACADABRA was born out of this vision.

“Burning Lies was inspired by the Burning Man.  I’ve never been there. Every year I spend countless hours watching videos, pictures from this amazing event.  So, one of my dreams is to attend.  It’s very strange to watch videos with DJs playing my tracks and people to really party with my music.  I say…oh man…why am I not there to play it myself or even to be on the dancefloor and dance with the crowd?  So, I said If I had the chance to play there and drop just one track of my own what would be?  That was the basic idea to start working Burning Lies. In the beginning, the track was instrumental but something still missing.  I had some vocals and put them on top but after 5 min because I loved the built up of the music. And that’s it. Burning Lies has just born.”

Accompanying track ‘A Village Called Zooberi’, is an ode to DSF’s home, just outside of Athens, where the sea gently licks the shore, and dreamlike music is conjured up by our protagonist.
