Some tracks just happen… 

I grew up listening to The Doors, and Riders on the Storm was always one of my favorite tunes of all time. 

During my first experimentations with playing a full live set, I found myself playing this melody on the saxophone, then I looped the harmony and used a baseline from another track called “Darkness” to bring it all together… that’s how “Riders on the Storm” - the instrumental version became a part of my live sets everywhere I go… 

After playing it a bunch, I felt like it deserved a proper production & recording. 

I played around with it a bit, and it just didn’t work for me with the saxophone. I felt the vocals were missing… I tried to use my own voice but that also wasn’t a good enough representation of the song, so finally, I hit up Nachum from @Automatictoys, and the rest is history…

trueColors is a deep and melodic record label with a focus on organic sounds, and the imprint's new release is a three-track compilation featuring music by Monolink, Zigan Aldi, Umami and Inámo who have all previously worked with trueColors.

Following the groundbreaking Foresight series, trueColors offers a deeper look into some unreleased material from prominent names on the label, works which stood the test of time with Insight Volume One.

Along with the previously unreleased 'Instrumental Mix' of Monolink and Zigan Aldi's track "Fidale (I Feel)" the release also includes a new remix by Inámo of Monolink and Umami's track "Terra Mount," and Umam provides a new remix of "Ahget" by Zigan Aldi.

Monolink is a German producer, musician and vocalist who combines live instrumentation and heartfelt lyrics with electronic beats. Along with his many solo tracks, he is also a regular collaborator known for working with other prestigious artists such as Ben Bohmer. Alongside his previous music on trueColors, he has also featured his enchanting style on other record labels such as Embassy One, Anjunadeep, Cercle Records and Afterlife Records.

Collaborating with Monolink on the track "Terra Mount" is German duo Umami, who combine electronic music production with acoustic guitar to create mesmerising tracks. Not only have they previously featured on trueColors, but they have also signed music to labels ranging from 3000 Grad to Katermukke. Umami also provides a mystical organic house remix of Zigan Aldi's solo track "Ahget."

Zigan Aldi is a German artist who features a solo track, plus a collaboration with Monolink called "Fidale (I Feel) (Instrumental Mix)" that is in the compelling style of organic house he has featured on other imprints such as Do Not Sit, Underyourskin Records and The Gardens of Babylon.

Inámo is an American organic house artist whose music has been a regular feature of trueColors and Earthly Delights. He showcases the melodic side of his sound with an upbeat remix of "Terra Mount" by Umami and Monolink.

With early support from Nick Warren, Sabo, Jonas Rathsman, Dave Seaman, Robbie Akbal, and Be Svendsen, this wonderful release is a collection of previously unreleased remixes and alternative versions, which combine deep atmospherics with melodic grooves and heartwarming melodies. There are also the flowing rhythms of Afro house and tribal percussion showcasing a new take on the trueColors catalogue and some of the artists that have helped shape the imprint's sound.

The debut album "Nervous Bliss" by electronic live act She Knows will be released on May 17, 2024 by the legendary Berlin label BAR 25 Music. In a total of eight danceable, melodic songs - four of them in Spanish and four in English - singer Teresa Tomás explores the different facets of a feeling we all know and seek with her unmistakably smoky voice, which sounds like a welcome, intimate, loving touch: the excited fluttering in the pit of the stomach when our nervous system is flooded with feelings of happiness. For example, when a mind-expanding trip or intoxication sets in, or in a moment of absolute vulnerability whose raw nakedness carries an unexpected thrill. A high, an electrifying moment in the face of absolute beauty, or in tune with the perfect frequency, but there is also a hint of nervousness in the air. "Nervous Bliss" fans out a symphony of feelings song after song: Love, joy, gratitude, awe, clarity, purpose and transcendence - uniting them into a fulfilling experience of bliss. She Knows was supported by the “Initiative Musik gemeinnützige Projektgesellschaft mbH” with project funds from the Federal Government Commissioner for Culture and the Media. She Knows embraces a collaborative and spontaneous approach to music production, often blurring the lines between electronic subgenres. From ambient interludes to also a little bit twisted and wacky synth lines, their studio sessions are a testament to the symbiotic creative relationship between Teresa and Marcel.

Niconé, known for his multifaceted talents in music and fashion, launched his career in 2007. His work, whether solo or in collaboration with artists like Sascha Braemer, Jan Blomqvist, and Philip Bader, defies easy categorization. Instead, Niconé's music evokes powerful emotions: the unity of a dance floor, the magic of sunrise at a peak moment in a party, and the bittersweet nostalgia of moments past coupled with the excitement of the future.

David Hasert, a cornerstone of Cologne's electronic music scene and founder of LIKE Records, has made significant contributions both as a DJ and a live act. Hasert’s extensive discography includes releases on his own label, as well as on Beats In Space, Dantze, and Kompakt Records with his project DAMH alongside ADA. His global tours and performances, including a highlight set at the iconic Burning Man Festival, underscore his impact on the scene.

Morpho Peleida is a new project founded by two DJ brothers and producers from Celestynów, Poland, Slawomir and Krzysztof, who previously collaborated as the duo 6Diemsnion. They have always liked to experiment, creating electronic and ambient mixtures with an often nostalgic but also raw club character. The idea of creating an organic sound within this spectrum was initiated by Krzysztof. In the past, the brothers had the opportunity to release their songs through legendary labels such as iRecords and Perception Music, and to share the stage with artists such as Oliver Koletzki.

Their track "Charrana" is inspired by a unique place that led to the creation of this holiday song in the style of Melodic House. Imagine a house on a rock right next to an azure bay, with the desert behind you and, in front of you, the sun setting, bathing the horizon in a majestic African glow.
