When you find a painting that tells the story of your life it is pretty intense.  Both my mother and grandfather were painters.  My grandfather led a really dramatic life and the painting I found was one of the raging ocean at Carmel Beach.  Crashing waves painted with the paint that he could afford after the war and alcoholisim had destroyed his life.  He was one of those classic old stories where someone had it all and drank it all away.  It was all in the painting.
