Abrahams Kamayi is a Congolese contemporary gospel artist, singer, songwriter and guitarist. He strives to bring down the Jericho of today by leading the body of Christ into a true authentic encounter with the living God trough Praise and Worship. AK ‘s passion for music started in 2003 after his matriculation, in him was birthed the heart of a worshiper. He began playing guitar and writing songs, his love for music is largely influenced by all the legendary music lovers of the gospel world. KAMAYI’s heart for God captivates the heart of worshipers wherever he goes with the kind of expressive worship, with a sharp voice, humble attitude and leading by example. A God fearing Minister, he has been in full time worship ministry since 2007 and still has energetic love for God. He Resides in Johannesburg, South Africa. Abrahams serves as Minister, Director of Music, Praise and Worship for JIC Grace Chapel Mass Choir, founded “The New City Praise” in 2009, Comprises of musicians and singers, who are all ministers in their respective church. Known as songwriter, writing for a number of Groups, and unsigned artists, He eventually recorded his first solo Album. The Kinshasa native has made his debut with “QUESTION?” This new album is all the more worthwhile for ABRAHAMS’S many experiences as a musician, composer, producer, songwriter, arranger, and worship lover. Inspired, suffused by an inner fire it glows with gracefulness and refinement eventually remains the role model of tenderhearted too. Each of 15 titles is like a pastel artwork both soft and packed. Sung in English, French, isiZulu, Lingala, Thisluba, and Swahili .It is the embodiment of the perfect cross-cultural combination, a blend of lovely melodies and glowing atmospheres with this as its bottom, it symbolizes the ideal fusion of several musical continents. With songs like HALLELUJAH, THANK YOU… AK now ministers at churches and for conferences leading folks to the presence of God in Praise and Worship, teaching congregation with a relevant message which is “the benefit of Praise and Worship” he says “Praise and Worship attract God’s presence, causes Him to come down; and the secret of a miraculous breakthrough resides in Praise and Worship”. He is more excited about all God has in store for him and his family, he says the potter is still perfecting and polishing a good wife and packaging best kids for me.
