This is my entry into the Solaria original song contest.  I am hoping this shows how practical Synth V's voices can be in modern music.  Solaria especially is incredible versatile.  I hope you all enjoy it, life can feel like purgatory sometimes...this song was a good catharsis.

As soon as SOLOMON dropped this track (well I suppose he showed it to me early) I fell in love.  I immediately asked him if I could remix it, but with a twist.  Every sound in the song (except for the sub bass) is made with the original samples of the song.  No added risers or sfx of any kind.  Every single sound pulled directly from the stems of the original song.

A bit of background for this one: I really struggled with suicidal thoughts growing up.  one of the things that helped pull me out of it was my wife telling me in response to me asking for good reasons to not do it was, "I can't tell you why, but I would miss you, I would cry.". So I turned that into lyrics and made a song out of it.

This song was made based on a challenge I imposed on myself to write the lyrics with as many power ups from a game I've been playing for 20 years, City of Heroes.  These power ups are called "inspirations" and they definitely helped inspire these lyrics about overcoming negative emotions, opening up to friends, family, and maybe even someone we just met, and persevering through it all.

I was attempting to make a song with Kevin and wanted to merge Emo and Electro music.  Plus I was experimenting with with virtual guitars for the first time.  I'm hoping it went alright, but I'm not entirely confident in this one.

I've had the lyrics written for this for 2 years, but couldn't find a voice to fit the lyrics.  I recently found out Avanna (the voice from Porter Robinson's "sad machine") was a vocaloid.  I picked her up and her voice immediately fit the song much better than Gumi (who was the original singer up until half way through this song's creation).  I hope everyone enjoys it as much as I do, she has a truly soft and beautiful voice :).  Love you all <3...
