The Medellin Kids is the first album from Abraysiv. It features 9 artists from the Nashville, TN area. 12 of the tracks are produced by Abraysiv. Americanito and Sicario were produced by The Rodfather and TK respectively. Deepr Love was a song originally written and performed by Clivillés & Cole in 1991, and covered by Aretha Franklin in 1994. As far as we know this song was Aretha's only foray into house music. We couldn't pass up a chance to work with the Queen of Soul's diva vocals, and we hope you enjoy our take on the track!

Abraysiv is a Nashville-based artist with a dense lyrical flow and rhythm to keep you on the edge of your seat. Although his music falls cozily into alternative rap, as a writer, he draws from many genres, even outside of music. He's just as influenced by artists such as The Red Hot Chili Peppers, Rise Against, Eminem & Nas as he is by figures such as Anthony Bourdain, Earnest Hemmingway, & Quentin Tarantino. 

Abraysiv currently lives in the Nashville neighborhood of Green Hills, and is finishing up several new projects with Cake Records and other Nashville-based producers. He's taking inspiration from his experiences coming of age in the shadow of the internet era. In his own words, his music is for "those with questioning minds and rebellious spirits".
