This release of this compilation is concurrent with our public unveiling of the glitch.cool music label and serves as its first official release. This label will be our directly artist-controlled outlet for releasing what we hope will be the most cutting edge in hyperglitch and other left-field electronic music and we have already planned a solid lineup of internal glitch.cool staff releases. We cannot wait to further deploy this project as a collective statement of our artistic vision.

And if that's still not enough, we're incredibly excited to announce a complete overhaul and upgrade of our https://glitch.cool/ website. We hope to use this as a hub for accessing all of our content, which currently includes free music, free tutorials, and resources, as well as a new section to accommodate output from the incredible glitch.cool Discord community that has been building over the last two years. We have a lot planned for this space and we hope you enjoy it.

Each iteration of the GWF track compilation is an important, personal milestone for me, as each time I push my limits and try to be efficient with everything I've learned so far. 

I am certainly pleased with this year's compilation, and definitely hope you'll enjoy it as much as we enjoyed creating it.

Abyssal Remixed is a project initiated by amaranth_todd in collaboration with artists and friends around the world, aiming to push the boundaries of the original EP Abyssal released earlier this year at Geometric Corruption. An expansion of the previous project aiming to unveil in the silent realms within, where thoughts whisper in secret and the core of our being unfurls leading to a profound truth: the self within the self is an endless abyss.

Abroxis - Ossia Remix

Back in April we released our debut project, ‘Glitch With Friends: Samples Vol. 1’. Since then we have been hard at work on a new batch of projects, the first of which is ‘Glitch With Friends: Compilation Vol. 1’, an 8-track compilation produced entirely using samples from our prior sample pack.

The compilation features many familiar faces from 'Samples Vol. 1' as well as some newcomers. There were no instructions given for this project other than - "use only samples we created", and as a result there is a wide variety of musical styles and sensibilities on display here, illustrating the sonic range of the samples and the producers themselves.

This tune is my contribution to the compilation. I hope you enjoy! I spent about two months working on the tune, having an hour or two per day (not every day, though). Two more tunes were created out of the same project, which will hopefully be released by the end of the year, or the start of the next one. 

I am very excited to see how this community develops over time.

And I'd like to give a huge thanks to everyone that participated, and @oddlogic for creating the glitch.cool website!
