Abrupt is Manchester based DJ and Producer with experience of dj’ing from over 20years from his love of Hip Hop, Funk, Drum n Bass, Glitch Hop, Moombahcore, Ghetto Funk, Electro Swing, Funk,  Disco House and more. His first dj set was in early 2004 for the disco house label Tasty Recordings and from then on has played supporting acts such as Krafty Kuts, Cut La Roc, A.Skillz, Fuzzbox Inc, Jon Carter, Rory Hoy and others.

Abrupt was the brainchild behind a night called Vibes based mainly in the ‘bar culture’ scene in Manchester doing more Nu Funk type genre from having local legend Steve Thorpe and MCR Hip Hop MC Red Venom alongside others for Vibes launch night and then a range of artists for other nights until it’s final night to celebrate it’s 1st Birthday at Funkademia in Manchester.

With the knowledge and experience collected over the years and the need to keep improving his skills Abrupt sets feature a high tempo of dancefloor bangers mixing through various genres for the party people.
