Exclusive: Tee Mango - Last Dance

UK-music ambassador Tee Mango delivers his altogether fourth EP, Last Dance, on Will Saul's Aus Music and delves into new territory on the EP as he lends his vocals to each of the three tracks. Combined with the rather deep and melodic vibe T's vocals add an irresistable note to each of the cuts – a beautiful melancholy that one is dying to listen to over and over again. The Millionhands label head provides a bass line in the beat of a heart for the EP opener and name giving track Last Dance. Luring the listener into its vibe with an almost two minute built-up before his echoing vocals set in and please the pads to then softly and reaptingly ask 'Will you stay for one more dance, my love? Will you stay with me?“, it's difficult to deny the wish. However, with vocals and a synth-line as sweet as this it's impossible to give the track a wide berth.

EXCLUSIVE: Tee Mango - Last Dance [Aus Music]

Based in Colombia’s capital Bogotá, Felipe Gordon is a renaissance man. The producer, multi-instrumentalist, DJ and label head from Bogotá, Colombia is nothing short of a phenomenon, effortlessly fusing complex sound combinations from jazz motifs to flowing piano and acid basslines into hugely exciting and unique house records. It’s a sound which comes together perfectly to create tracks which have been moving waves worldwide over the last couple of years. Felipe Gordon has already released a string of hugely well-regarded tracks and worked on remixes for some of the coolest labels out there, including Shall Not Fade, Toy Tonics, Clone Royal Oak, Razor-N-Tape, Local Talk, Heist and Nómada Records. This new full-length journey comes to us on Wide Awake - Felipe’s new label - a channel designed to launch his own starbound productions.
‘Errare Humanum Est’ comes from the Latin “To err is human”.  As a musician - human being - you must face ‘mistakes’ in your compositions and instrumental interpretations. Felipe Gordon presents his second conceptual album under this premise. Making mistakes is a crucial part of art and life and it should always be embraced and accepted. During the past year, the musician and producer has worked on this new LP in his studio ‘El Dorado’ in Bogotá, Colombia. Trying to create a whole new concept and universe, he revisited some forgotten musical sketches, going from breakbeats, synthesis, boom-bap, deep acid, and house. Felipe Gordon presents us with a melting pot of musical ideas that are not trying to be a club focused collection, but more a of whole listening experience. Not focusing on dance matters alone, Felipe looks to the everyday and to meaningful musical enjoyment.

With a forward-thinking distribution collaboration from Rotterdam powerhouse Clone Records, and looking for a way to create a more independent environment for his releases, Felipe has created Wide Awake, a brand-new record label focused on creating a platform for his ever growing and constantly astounding output. As with his much acclaimed first album A Landscape Onomatopeya, Primer Ocaso took the design into their talented hands, creating a quality gatefold construction to house the 2X12's on 140g solid white vinyl edition of which only 1000 copies will be available.

This November, Get Physical has the honour of releasing the first ever album from Chicago house luminary DJ Pierre. 
Before that, they drop one of the singles from the LP with a special remix by Rumore & Benjamin Fröhlich.
Pierre, by anyone’s standards, is a pivotal character in the story of house music. Active since the ‘80s, inventor of the acid sound with Phuture, the man behind the famous WildPitch style of tracks and remixes and a veteran of labels like King Street, Strictly Rhythm, Nite Groove and International Deejay Gigolo, he’s done it all.
