For Abstract Space Records' 14 release, we welcome Hungarian producer, John Drummer to the label. Releasing regularly on respected labels Stellar Fountain and Balkan Connection, John brings us his latest progressive piece "Forgetting Things". Lending their talents as well are Marcelo Paladini and Pasco B, making this a deep EP throughout. John starts the original out nice and slow setting the mood with natural percussion and chirping birds. Slowly building, "Forgetting Things" is eventually met by a slightly gritty bassline, various synth work and a nice electric guitar melody. First up on remix duties, we welcome Marcelo Paladini. With over 30 labels under his belt, he gets to add one more. Marcelo maintains the feel but, gives us a more dance friendly version with a beautiful, spacey breakdown. Last up, we also welcome Pasco B to the label. Pasco keeps it deep with many elements of the original and focuses more on the tech influence.

This time around our favorite duo finds the listener savoring the stellar view of a bustling inner city from a vantage point high atop a stunning bass hit, braced against whirling pads that tempt a lonely sounding synthesizer to take a leap of faith between towering skyscrapers of percussion that are silhouetted against bright, sonorous strings. In his remix, Blufeld brazenly continues the theme with our lonely synthesizer soaring above bass heavy kicks, propped up by a boisterous bass line carried even higher through a buffeting break beat that indeed offers No Way Back. LoQuai's Nightfall remix drops the tone with a rolling bass that emulates sunset in our city, bringing out the dark side of the now familiar melody with a haunting, slow moving synth line. Abstract Space Records presents a glimpse into the musical musings of the progressive house genius Alejandro Manso in its 40th release, Camelopardalis. Alejandro, who has released on other notable record labels like Balkan Connection, Suffused Music, and Old SQL Recordings showcases his progressive flair in this deep, inspiring track that features remixes from some of the best artists in the progressive scene of today. The release opens with a deep, mysterious drone that slowly deepens amidst tantalizing percussion and swirling ambient sounds effects until reaching a dramatic climax and dropping into an almost housey bass punctuated with keyed hits. Tuxedo returns to the label in a remix that starts out with a hand percussion line that quickly develops into a brilliant, chimeric blend of deep proggy house beats and whirling mystical sound effects that continuously vie for the listeners attention throughout. In his remix K Nass nurtures the complex futuristic effects of the original into a bright, playful lead that impetuously darts in and around a dark brooding bassline. Abstract Space Records proudly introduces the newest member of its already monster line up of talented artists. In this release, Argentinian artist and producer Fabry Carrasco showcases his considerable talent in a deep, melodic progressive stunner titled Perception. Perception, previously released in the Supernova 1.0 VA compilation, was so well received that Abstract Space Records called in a heavy hitting team of veteran artists for a full length release. At the outset of the original track, Fabry uses a beefy kick drum to highlight a throbbing bass line before a light, airy pad ushers in a hushed hat and snare line interwoven with delicate looping synthesizers. Robert R. Hardy starts out with an intriguing percussion line that melts into a laid back, mesmerizing bass with clattering sound effects that echo back from the edge of your imagination while the hypnotic pads from the original track lazily drift in and out of focus in his ultra chilled out remix. SeamLess Beat pushes the boundaries of progressive house with prolific hand percussion, brilliantly tattooing the beat all the way into a break where soothing, mellow keys take over and guide the listener through the end of the track. Previously featured on the recent Supernova 1.0 compilation, The Snake harnesses the power of dark progressive house and unabashedly bares the raw unfettered emotion of the genre for the listener to experience in it's purest form. Alfonso slowly unwraps layer after layer of exquisite sounds, revealing first a moving bass kick shrouded in subdued high hats, followed by stunning bass stabs awash with mystical sound effects, all building up to sumptuous, writhing pad work and a hypnotic lead that leaves the listener absolutely mesmerized. Jonnas B continues this release, using the sultry movement of the original track and fleshing out the bass line to perfection while maintaining a solid grasp on the wonderfully synthed lead, following the elegant formula laid out by Alfonso. Mark Found almost completely reworks with The Snake in his Cobra Remix, an energetic progressive trance remix that continuously builds from the opening hat to its powerful climax. Closing out this release with his Dark Suit Remix, Alejandro Manso succinctly expounds upon its dark mysticism in a slithering, minimal remix that captures the elusive essence at the heart of The Snake with stupendous hand percussion lines, bottomless bass drones, and sharp synth work.

The 2017 begins with new refreshed Abstract Space Records as Ukrainian pundit Following Light returns to Abstract for its 119th release with a majestic EP 'Carpathians' with two exclusive remixes from legend Stage Van H (Greece) and returning remixer duo Magnetic Brothers (Russia). Following Light's sound is mostly an atmospheric progressive house with elements of melodic techno, which always has its own contrast. With the support of world DJ's, he's been active since 2010 and was released on top labels like Particles, Stellar Fountain, Visceral, OLD SQL, Magic Room, Balkan Connection, Fluro Music, Deep Blue Eyes, City Zen Digital, Liquid Grooves, Polytechnic, Aura, Nueva Deep just to name a few. The original initiates with stranded cosmic hypnotic basses, dazzling drum set along with rapturous vintage pluck which mingles with a deep and probing pad creating a complex voyage with leveling percussions. Its breakdown brings down a wonderful dark synth and piano based stab which halcyons and drives till the end. A peculiar sequence of stabs and dark melody makes this track a true weapon. A classic one from Following Light. 
For the first remix we have returning duo Magnetic Brothers who are world famous since the last decade due to their releases on Armada Music, Black Hole, Movement recordings and many more. They offer a more coherent bassline with more force and abstraction enshrines the aura of the main theme. Absolute pads in breakdown transforms the track as female voxes and bass chords starts forming for the endgame. This serene interpretation really tells a different story. 
Our very own progressive guru Stage Van H brings the final remix to the table as the last year has been amazing for him and Abstract. He returns with an enthralling, dark illusion version with evolving progressive chords and powerful pads. The reverbed pluck stabs surely make it another authentic one from Stage Van H. The breakdown is so soothing and innovative that you can’t be left inspired. The use of piano breaks and deep bassline moves along towards a kindling groove which does true justice with the pulsating track taking you to subtle progressive expedition.
