For Riemann Kollektion Nr. 18 the french underground Techno producer LEGHAU, who is currently living in Berlin teams up with Florian Meindl's Sounddesign label Riemann Kollektion to form a rough-analog tool-kit of extended Drum tools, Chords, Techno sequences and Drones as well as MIDI files!
Leghau is known from labels like Figure (Len Faki), Sleaze (Hans Bouffmyhre) or FLASH Recordings (Florian Meindl) and gigs in Berghain for instance.
All sounds are carefully crafted to have a strong impact on Soundsystems like Funktion One or VOID.

With his background as club and festival promoter and wih travels through different musical experiences in the wide range from Drum & Bass to Dubtechno his newest project at Fachwerk contains an eclectic live act with influences from Germanys earliest rave culture, chain reacting echoes and heavy bass techno. Also after many years as world traveling DJ he keeps on searching for new ways of DJing, channeling his approach as a producer into his peaktime nightclub performances.

Soma proudly present the first in an exciting series of releases to celebrate 25 years at the top of electronic music as we turn to some of our favourite modern artists to reinvent some of the best from the back catalogue and up first is Envoy’s timeless classic, Dark Manoeuvres. Originally released as part of the “Coalition EP’ in 1996 (which also featured the classic Seawall), Hope Grant’s instantly recognisable hit is still found in nearly every Techno DJs record box and has continually served as a beacon of Soma since it’s release Four new versions are served up here as Dax J, Norman Nodge, Obscure Shape & SHDW plus Tensal all deliver fine interpretations of this Soma classic.

Dax’s furious style is the opener as he uses the original chords as they were intended but all the time firing his concussive drum patterns directly to the dance floor. Ostgut Ton’s Norman Nodge turns in a delectable dub version in only the way he can by keeping Envoy’s original muted and delivering a subtle, introverted version. The duo of Obscure Shape & SHDW are next up and delivery one epic take on Dark Manoeuvres. The pair build the tension early, teasing the strings then unleashing an onslaught, adding their own beautifully led, string section before hammering home. PoleGroup’s Tensal closes out our first Soma 25 releases, twisting and cutting the hook to suits his means as thunderous beats work away behind this solid tool.

With much more on the horizon, Soma has their gaze fixed firmly on the future of Techno

Cisco Ferreira's Kombination Research label starts a new chapter with its 'Kompile' series. As a key figure in the UK techno and electro scenes for over two decades, Cisco Ferreira has been at the vanguard of cutting edge dancefloor music since most modern club goers can remember. This, the first part in a series of three, 'Kompile Research Part 1' features new and unreleased tracks from past and future artists that are connected to his Kombination Research imprint.

Industrialyzer - Void

This time is Ricardo Rodrigues AKA Industrialyzer who lands on the court of Damon Wild with three tracks perfectly aliened with the label's philosophy, Synewave has been at the service of real techno for over 20 years. 

It all begins with "Analogue Planet" a 130 bpm journey which rouses the dance floor whilst stimulating the mind, giving both of them no mercy. 

The second track, "Multiple Walls", carries the flavour of an Old School small march with a hammondesque synth which revolves around the groove from beginning to end. 

The atmosphere becomes dark and acid in the third and final track on this release. "Orbit X" is an emotional roller coaster which develops in different phases, everyone of which takes the listener by surprise. 

With this release Industrialyzer reminds us that, after all, New York, Detroit, Chicago, Berlin, Amsterdam or Lisbon don't really matter, quality techno is a global affair and Synewave consistently confirms this with releases above all schemes, movements and trends. Monumental.

B2- Industrialyzer - Orbit X

Following the podcast by Oskar Offmann we will introduce you another inspiring artist from this year's MoxxoM Line up. The Berlin Monomood mixed a 60 minute long set of finest and deepest Dub Techno for our 14th Podcast.

Monomood was born in a small village in the very east of Germany during the mid 80s. He lives in Berlin for more than ten years now. As an artist he is difficult to categorize. What is it? Techno? House? Drum and Bass? What about a quantum Funk or Ambient? Well, actually, it’s always a bit of everything – but it’s always new and fresh. It is hard to find the leitmotif, and yet there is one: quality. After dwelling on the Drum and Bass station for a while, it is most accurate to say Monomood took a sidestep towards his musical origin: the cosmos of dubby Techno sounds. His vinyl debut on Etui Records, carries us into the complex world of echoed chords and spacy delays. And while things are constantly changing, the sound of Monomood isn't standing still indeed. With more focus on the raw side of techno and highly appreciated releases on shtum and needledrums on his way, monomood launches his own platform called „abstract animal“ in spring 2013 to bring his floor-moving peaktime-attitude to vinyl.
