Mahmood aka MAH MOOD (Phi Garden, Kabareet), an emerging young talent based in Haifa, has immersed himself in his professional DJ career in recent years. Drawn to an array of musical genres and particularly intrigued by hypnotic, mental techno and percussive old school house, Mahmood chose to delve deeper into the electronic music realm, especially after being exposed to the local nightlife scene when he moved out of his hometown, Akko.
Balancing the traditional values of his community with his identity as a queer Palestinian, Mahmood's dynamic and thought-provoking artistic exploration pushes boundaries and creates immersive sonic experiences.

DJ and producer from Strasbourg France, he started mixing at the age of 14. 
Active in the Carte Blanche prod. crew in Nancy and Strasbourg, he co-founded the Ephémère collective in 2012 before helping to create KALT in 2018. 
Recently released on the club’s eponymous label alongside Massimiliano Pagliara, Alinka, Sedef Adasi, etc., his DJ sets vary between house and techno, always with a strong rhythm and punch, based on hypnotic material and hardgroove sounds.

With over twelve years of experience spanning various sectors of the music and cultural industries, he has established himself as a promoter and curator of diverse projects. His expertise extends to co-producing numerous national and international productions, contributing significantly behind the scenes.

His refined understanding of industry demands, paired with a deep-seated passion for sound and culture, serves as the cornerstone of his artistic identity. In recent years, he has devoted himself almost exclusively to the studio, engaging in cross-genre collaborations with a variety of artists.

The Amygdala is a central structure of the limbic system. It evaluates sensory inputs for emotional significance and potential threats, triggering neural pathways that generate emotional responses and embed as lasting memories.

Simultaneously, it initiates physical responses such as heartbeat, breathing, goosebumps, and the release of dopamine and serotonin. Within musical experience, the amygdala allows us to sense the emotional undertones of others intuitively, even before the mind can interpret them. This process is known as affective empathy.
