2020 - Techno & Tech House - Part 1

Recording of my Live Act at Jardim Sonoro, in Lisbon. I used two controllers to control Ableton (108 knobs & 12 buttons) and an Erica Synths Perkons (also processed in Ableton in real time). 95‰ of the synth ideas you hear were created in the moment. No scene launch in ableton whatsoever. Let me know if you find the 5% pre recorded beats :D

It’s a completely raw recording, no level adjustment, no mastering and no editing (yes you can hear a little crash on my computer near the end).

The Detroit aficionado offers clobbering compositions, scratchy textures, and punishing mechanical rhythms: his sets are packed with peak-hour frequencies, driving loops and a whole lot of renegade, merciless energy.

Denise Rabe´s experience in the Berlin techno scene as a booker, radio host, promoter and dj since she relocated to German capital drawn by the possibility of a life in music, is reflected in the pragmatic, grounded artist she became and the unique, original voice she’s developed as a producer.

Her approach and work ethic can be seen expressed on every release she’s done under her label, Rabe, where her music is matched with an equal amount of care, thought and work, in the vessels that contain it, within a coherent aesthetic and vision that informs music, artwork and presentation equally.

This has allowed her to recruit the artist who´s work resonates with her sensibility and can be heard in the remixes Rrose, Shxcxchcxsh, Headless Horseman, among others, have done for her releases on her and other labels.

Imprints such as Mutewax, who released her first 12’’ in 2015, ARTS where she quickly became one of the label´s staples and Stroboscopic Artifacts where she published ‘’Manifesto’’ in 2019, are clear reference points that describe her career and its development. 

Rabe’s particular inclination to sparse industrial soundscapes, gothic aesthetics, driven grooves under hooks that hypnotize as much as they distinguish, have propelled her 10 year career across stages all over the US, Asia and Europe, as well as the clubs that represent the apex of techno world wide such as Berghain and Tresor.

Berlin, Detroit, Birmingham and, of course, Sarajevo.
Bosnian-built and -bred Sev Dah may be a Swedish expat, but the Balkan blackness clings strongly to the bleak percussions and rigidly uneasy synthetics that unwillingly fuse into his strongly individual take on techno. Authentically purveying the pulsations of the nakedly throbbing and ugly world, far away from Starbucks and H&M. 

Signed to respected labels such as Random Island, Mote-Evolver and Kaiser's KSR, he quickly gnawed his way into the scene’s core of DJs and producers. Sev is even managing new projects on his own label Proletarijat since 2016. Like a rabid mongrel, since 1998 he has been chewing and belching new bastard beats that are aching to scream out. Consequently there’s a steaming and steady stream of vinyl releases coming.

With influences ranging from Stigmata and Mills to Master Reese and Petar Dundov, Sev Dah is a versatile but headstrong DJ that can gently ease a thumb in at midnight or fervently thrust it down the hatch at peak time.

Ha estado presentándose en varios eventos en diferentes ciudades de Perú como Lima, Cusco, Máncora y Arequipa, por mencionar algunas. Recientemente, debutó en el FREEDOM 2025 de Medellín y en distintas ciudades de Chile como Santiago, Concepción, Antofagasta y Valparaíso.

Andrea se desenvuelve en los sonidos hipnóticos y profundos del techno y otros subgéneros experimentales. Abstract Division is a long-standing collaboration of Paul Boex and Dave Miller, a Dutch electronic music producer and DJ duo. Next to running their label Dynamic Reflection and its sub-label Morphologies, they stimulated the Dutch underground scene with their well-known DECODE parties.

With over 30 years of collective experience under their belt, the established duo of Abstract Division is bringing deep, hypnotic and energetic techno sets to any club, rave or festival. They have performed at prominent festivals like Awakenings, Monegros Desert Festival, Time Warp, BAUM Festival, Audioriver, Loveland and some of the best venues including Berghain, Fuse, Fabrik Madrid, RSO, Radion and many more.

During many years of collaboration, the duo managed to create their own unique sound. Their in-depth knowledge of sound engineering enables them to release year after year refreshing productions and each new track marks a subtle evolution in sound.
