BRVTAL 2021 has started and we launch our new compilation series on digital with limited merchandise. SZROGH does not mean just a V/A, because we return to where we started. Architecture and brutalism.

With that, we set a memory for György Szrogh, one of the finest architects and professors in Hungary between late '40 and '60. Just to mention a few important buildings from his life work: MÉMOSZ Headquarters, Körszálló (aka Hotel Budapest), Dózsa Cinema, Community Center of Salgótarján, etc.

As far as the performers are concerned, the concept that we have started our label is continuing, because most of the producers contributed with BRVTAL in the past, played on our gigs, made podcasts for us.

Furthermore, it is not a secret intention of us to bring closer the local techno scene to the international, mixing them and show some foreign talented names to our audience and give some gifted hungarians to the world.

There is no goofy in the music, just the hardest, cruelest, harshest techno with industrial or rave influence by @AGA2L, @AXKAN, @BrayanValenzuela, @CVRDWELL, @Obwigszyh and @Rezystor.

POLISH TECHNO.LOGY debuts with the first official album!
The premiere release of the Polish label is 'Dark Reverb' EP by MDS, which is also partof this collective. This is the debut EP of the Polish artist, which is a consequence of his dynamic development and willingness to cross new borders. 'Dark Reverb' EP contains 4 tracks that bring a dark atmosphere interwoven with ambient sounds, strong bass and favorite elements used by MDS, giving the tracks the
right pace.

BTS collective is back with the fourth release on their label: ‘Selem’ EP by MERVH. The Turkish-born, Warsaw-based producer makes her debut with a 3 track digital EP backed with remixes from Violent, HATELOVE, and Sekulahr.

The release opens with ‘She Is Gone’ in which haunting vocals that establish an elegiac tone drift over an entrancing beat, up till a cathartic indurstialesque climax. The atmosphere becomes even more dense on „The Death Was Near” where fast and heavy drums meet melancholic yet ecstatic pads, urging for a frantic dance. MERVH downs the tempo again into industrial mode on the final original track ‘Endless Longing’ which finishes off with an epic synth line.

Violent’s cinematic rework of ‘She Is Gone’ continues the sublime atmosphere in a complex yet smooth 8-minute composition that takes the listener on a purgatory journey. Next up, HATELOVE reinterprets ‘The Death Was Near’ into a merciless galloping banger in his signature style. The final remix is Sekulahr’s stepping and atmospheric rendition of ‘Endless Longing’ which eventually turns into trance mode for a grand finale.
