On the 4th episode of Luminal rec., we gladly welcome Portuguese artist Temudo – one of the most exciting and dexterous rising talents within the underground electronic music, continuously releasing works on labels like SOMA, Clergy, Modularz and his own trippy imprint HAYES.

‘Only Then’ is a hypnotic and bleepy, floor-focused interpretation of label-boss Black Lotus’ & Temudo’s vision, transporting listeners to cavities of space and serenity. The four tracker is fully packed with layered, heavy hitting Techno, yet being comprised of enough experimental artefacts and left-of-centre nuances to satisfy even the most curious of diggers. Includes fantastic remix from the amazing Dustin Zahn!

Abstraction is a Cuban underground techno label that has been releasing quality music for several years. Artists such as Bas Mooy, Arnaud Le Texier, Temudo, and Vegim have contributed tracks and remixes to the label.

The Rex Club resident, Electric Rescue, is also the Skryptöm club night and label boss. A pillar of the Paris scene, he is constantly working on projects and has a relentless release ethic. His stellar back catalogue including Nastia's NECHTO, John Digweed's Bedrock, Marco Bailey's MATERIA, Arnaud Le Texier's Children of Tomorrow, and many more.

For this DT:Premiere we selected "Intact Soul" with its up-tempo energy leading the way. Rattling percussion and an abstract lead tone combined with the fervent pace, create a fizzing combination of distinct sounds and intensity that really stands out from the crowd.

This Tuesday, Rashad will release on Fabrik's label, dropping his 'Deep Around' EP, featuring 4 heavy weight techno remixes, coming from Alex Dolby, Vegim, Juan Trujillo and Aske. We premiere the dance floor destroying techno remix from Vegim.

Vegim’s journey into the underground began in the early 1990’s. Once he began collecting records his obsession grew stronger and he invested his first pieces of music equipment. 

His earliest experiments in the studio go back to around 2002. After about 4 years of hard work, he self-released his first EP Creature 3000 with Nani Killa on his label TMMR, which went on to receive support worldwide. He has run his label successfully ever since.

The track is a driving techno, industrial number, that would sit well in a dark, atmospheric techno set. Crank this one up to full volume.
