We had a small entree from the man in late 2019 when he contributed to our Benzeen VA. Though after some time has passed, Balrog has kept growing from release to release.

We have put out a six tracker stacker to give his sound the shine it deserves. After getting traction across Soma, IOD & more, we are glad to drop 'The Future Is Now EP' to showcase what his been up to and exactly the direction he is going.

Klausgreen - Braga [Premiere I DVR122]

This was a release under my older Jake moniker, the flipside of my first release on my own label Blueface and was catalogue no BFACE001. It starts with a vocal sample "reposess" which is a fragment of a story of cyberpunk nature around futuristic body snatchers which is joined by a chunky kick and hat combo and dark sampled bassline. Then more layers of lighter and zingy chords are added to develop the journey meaning the track combines darkness and lightness. The breakdown uses the vocal with a long feedback delay to create a space for a dance crowd to whoop before the kick hat combo comes slashing back in.

For CARAVEL's first solo EP, she wanted to combine all her inspirations in 3 different tracks:

Acid, industrial, drums.

She's very attached to powerful kicks and wanted it to be the main part of this piece.
This Ep is the result of what she achieved through those years, it's a mark of her evolution since her first gig as well as the evolution of her influences. 
During the production she wanted to prove to herself and to the scene her skills as a female artist.
