El AMBIE—TÓN is back. As its title suggests, #002 is an exercise of memory. It is a place where water blooms on the earth and wind sweeps through the mountains. It is jungle and city.

Mountain and noise. Imbalance and harmony.
It is a lake in the sky,
a forest between seas.
A still cloud in la cordillera,
a name that floats.

This collaboration between Colombian Drone Mafia and Gibrana Cervantes is the beginning and end of a fragile geography, like the magic and mafia of our platanal, a bridge between the Americas.

CDM is the new alias of Nyksan, Bogota-born DJ, sound artist and co-founder of TraTraTrax. Here, he joins forces with Mexican composer and violinist Gibrana Cervantes, one of the most outstanding string voices sounding across the most vital electronic and avant-garde music scenes of recent years. Together, the duo creates dark and cabalistic ambient, all woven around intricate, gut-moving sonorities. Colombian Drone Mafia dissolves the boundaries between synthesis and field recordings, crafting experimental yet primitive textures that infect listeners through the layered melodic spaces that Gibrana masters.

We cordially invite you to listen to this journey of immersive drones through lush vegetation and concrete jungle, music that is at times contemplative and at other times violent. Hanging between deep listening and deep boredom, Memoria suspends a sonic archeology of Bogotá and its surroundings in looping repetition, evoking a dream. A glimpse of the sound of the end.

On our new episode of INVITADXS we are proud to have colombian and Karlsruhe-based DJ and producer as well as co-runner of label RUTA and platform Neotropica! It’s the amazing SEPTT!  If you are into percussive bass music, you might have stumbled upon his productions or definitely heard them on a club night. His sound is certainly unique and combines elements of bass music, Brokenbeat-techno, Hard Drum, and contemporary latinamerican rythms among others.  This DJ mix is a journey through the world of percussive-driven electronic music. It opens with hypnotic drum patterns and minimal, repetitive structures that ground the listener in a sense of ritual and adventure—transporting you to open, sun-drenched landscapes. As the mix unfolds, it evolves into a deeper, more complex soundscape: organic grooves blend with heavier basslines and high-tech textures. What begins as raw and earthy gradually transforms into something synthetic and immersive.

Imaginé par ergen101, cet opus devient un terrain d’expression libre où les artistes explorent, sans filtres, les tensions et les résonances entre des thèmes forts : oppression et liberté, douceur et violence, traumatisme et résilience. Le tout dans une esthétique club déconstruite, hybride, expérimentale — voire anti-club — portée par les textures bass les plus intenses. Un récit sonore profondément humain, où le passé résonne au présent, et où chaque track devient un acte : Trigger & Response.
