Long-time friend of the label Plesk Parallel makes her way to All Centre to release a sublime double tracker. On Spit Fountain, Plesk Parallel revitalizes her sound with a pair of transcendent, explorative club tracks.

Spit Fountain opens as a CR-78 drum machine workout heavily manipulated by masterful sound design. Drum clicks reverberate across a cavernous space charted by booming sub-low kicks. A disorienting melody enters the fray in the latter half of the track, reminiscent of AFX b-sides and microtonal experiments.

Morpho shifts into a more mechanical, to-the-grid groove with rigid kick drums and earworm percussion. Drawing on 90s & 00s broken techno, Plesk Parallel puts her own spin on these conventions, augmenting the style with perfected sound design, hypnotic pads and a heavy, dubbed-out bassline.

Spit Fountain is available on all digital platforms from November 10th.

Sweet Bye and Bye is designed to help you unwind with soothing melodies and peaceful rhythms, offering a gentle respite from the fast-paced dancefloor.

In this episode, I invited my dear friend @cam_cool - DJ, producer, and member of Burenhinder. Instar is also known as the captivating voice of the shoegaze band Sunchaser. Through their personal sonic explorations, instar plays and creates trance-tekno & noise music, amongst a wider arts practice under the same moniker. Instar takes here a softer approach blending nostalgic soundscapes with textured ambient music to create a tranquil soundscape.
