Abstraxion once again delivers another twist to his exotic musical tale with "Trance Body Music". A four track collection of 90’s-infused club rockets. Hi-NRG sounds that traverse the trance-techno-rave intersection.

Lead single ‘Whole’ is a distorted and relentless number that hammers along with skewed vocal chops and lashings of bounce. ‘Gold’ however, is a more pushy heads-down affair. It's ramped BPM and vocals muster dewy-eyed Bonzai-memories, whilst harnessing the free spirit of the resurging eurodance movement.

Next out of the rave cannon comes ‘Force’, with its fierce tempo, jittering synth stabs and playful melody working together to create a tidy dancefloor moment. The show is brought to a close with the bubbling title track Trance Body Music. A perfect, almost soothing, finale to a wonderfully energetic adventure.

I'm excited to share with you, in agreement with Suuns, my remix of 2020 as a free download.

Following last year album Images du Futur, released on Secretly Canadian from Montreal's Suuns. 
Abstraxion is delivering here a dark and powerful version of the track 2020 in the spirit of his recent remixes for Beak> & PVT.


Harold Boué aka Abstraxion is a 29 years old French producer, based in London and Marseille. He released last year on HAKT Recordings, Biologic records and Nicolas Jaar's label Other People his stunning debut LP Break of Lights. If critics are merely a tough crowd, dance music producers rank tougher still, Abstraxion's innovating music has already garnered accolades (and spins) from both – including heavy hitters such as Erol Alkan, Simian Mobile Disco, James Holden and Dan Snaith (Caribou/Daphni).

Though a sometimes common misconception lingers over electronic music as being cold and soulless, the opposite couldn't be more true for French-born/London-Marseille-based producer Abstraxion (Harold Boué). Following the 2013 release of Break of Lights, HAKT Recordings is proud to present Abstraxion's latest offering, I Can't, available December 08, 2014. 

Wasting no time on a dramatic intro, Abstraxion dives in headfirst, immediately commanding attention with the eponymous opener. The track's 6-minute landscape unearths Abstraxion's signature warm melodies, dreamy basslines and nostalgic undercurrents (only this time with a more dancefloor-friendly tempo), paving the way for the rest of the EP. Hypnotic sounds ebb and flow on the sci-fi-esque "Never Thought" before Abstraxion unleashes a sinister , propulsive riff akin to a jet revving up for takeoff somewhere in the middle. Brief but profound, it makes for an unforgettable surprise before the track winds down back to earth. 

Rounding out the EP are two remixes for "Around Me." A bouncy bassline and chunky, wobbly synths abound in Fairmont's take, while My Favorite Robot closes with a minimal, psychedelic groove.

Marseille figurehead Harold Boué kicks off 2025 with a brand-new EP under his Abstraxion moniker. ‘Void Sequence’ is an ode to prog-house, trance, and the unmistakable energy of 90s club sounds.

Out via his own Biologic Records, ‘Void Sequence’ continues to cement Harold’s reputation as a tastemaker in French underground electronic music.

For two decades, Harold Boué has been a driving force in Marseille’s scene, from his work as Abstraxion and Lion’s Drums, to founding pivotal events like Mouillette, a queer club night created to fill the city’s lack of inclusive spaces, and Encore Encore, a socially and environmentally conscious festival now entering its fifth year hosted in France’s first organic village.

As Abstraxion, Harold has released music on labels like Nicolas Jaar’s Other People, Jennifer Cardini’s Dischi Autunno, and Cocktail d’Amore. His Biologic Records imprint has become a home for cutting-edge artists and his productions blur genre lines, weaving elements of Italo-disco, early trance, 90s progressive house, and raptor house. His latest EP, Ignition, featured raptor pioneer DJ Babatr and Yazzus on the remix.

Void Sequence is timeless, yet of the moment, and highlights Abstraxion’s prowess in creating fun and fresh cuts. Lead single Don’t Speak, a classic, rave-ready prog-house anthem that masterfully builds tension, layering hypnotic elements over hard-hitting kicks, a bouncy bassline, and choppy vocals. Bass Injection the EPs second single is a high-energy, bass-driven track that channels the raw power of 90s progressive house. The EP also has remixes lined up with Bliss Inc, Maruwa, Eoin & Olsvenger.

Now based in Stockholm, Harold continues to bridge musical communities with Bisou, his latest event series, bringing the spirit of his work in France to his new home creating spaces for freedom, connection, and expression.

Harold Boué, known as Abstraxion and Lion’s Drums, is a French producer and musician based between Stockholm and Marseille. His music blends Italo-disco, early trance, techno rave, and raptor house, crafting a hypnotic fusion of emotion and energy where nostalgia meets modern club culture. His DJ sets are unpredictable journeys, balancing tension, release, and surprise.

Founder of Biologic Records and a long-standing figure of Marseille’s underground, Harold has recently turned his focus toward Stockholm’s vibrant scene. In 2024, he launched Sauna Radio — a hybrid project combining radio platform, cultural space, and record label, dedicated to showcasing Swedish and international talent. The label’s first release is set for November 21, 2025.

He is also behind Bisou, a queer-forward club night celebrating freedom and intensity, and Encore Encore, a festival blending music, art, and sustainability in southern France. With performances at Berghain / Panorama Bar, Pitchfork, and Botanique Festival, Harold stands today as a driving force and cultural connector between the French and Swedish electronic scenes.
