this set holds a special place in my heart. i survived my first gig in february 2024 with shaky knees, and now i had the chance to play at tresor west – a moment i’ll never forget. the energy, the vibes, and the crowd were simply unreal, and i’m so grateful for the experience. this mix is full of grooves, booty shakers, high energy, and sunrise music – tracks that tickle my brain. sometimes silly, sometimes sexy, but always fun.

i love blending genres and creating a unique vibe in every set. you’ll hear everything from detroit techno and steamy breaks to playful ukg, cunty ghettotech, melodic dubby electro, and hypnotic grooves. i let the moment guide me, and my sets are all about what resonates with me and the crowd in that space.

Ariel is a Cologne-based DJ who’s rawing inspiration from nature, science fiction, and the complexity of life itself. He crafts a unique auditory journey that blends organic textures, intense basslines with cutting-edge electronic soundscapes. His sound revolves around a fusion of tribal tek elements, psychedelic (dub) techno, and deep progressive trance, creating a dynamic and energetic atmosphere that transcends the ordinary. Taking listeners on a hypnotic journey, he keeps them engaged in a constant state of motion, guiding them into a transcendent, transformative experience where genres no longer matter.
At the core of his music lies the pursuit of achieving a higher state of mind. By weaving multiple layers of mental sounds, Ariel aims to construct an immersive sonic symbiosis resembling past, present & future alike.

In this particular mix, he fuses deep, psychedelic tech with bass-heavy progressive music to create a rather laid-back yet even more intense sound-immersive journey. Always with the intent of reaching the subliminal corners of the listener's mind's depths.

I’ve always loved imperfections. They make me feel more connected to whatever it is. Could be a faded polaroid with dust on it, a single cloud in an otherwise clear sky, or a clap that sounds different each time it plays. There’s something about the unpredictability, the raw edges, that makes things feel more real. Especially in music, that’s what draws me in. So when Upperberry reached out, it felt like the right moment to gather tracks that carry that same imperfect energy and to explore my own path through sound, drifting from dub into house.
