Part of the well-respected amenthia recordings crew, co-host of Home Radio she runs together with Garçon and a resident at Elysia ~ arguably one of the most loved clubs in Europe ~ Timnah is a well seasoned DJ with strong sensibility in navigating the the deeper, headier waters of techno and atmospheric bass 💫

Timnah’s introspective contribution is a perfectly balanced blend of deep, aqueous drones and murky downtempo carving out and holding space for the patiently emerging stormy rhythms taking the reins for most part in the second half of the mix. Today, let's welcome Maïore for an hour trip of deep music. French musician based in Berlin and head of the @preceptco label, he's already known for his DJ skills in the fields of deep techno. After five years and his last podcast published by our colleagues from @deep_electronic, this is is first try with downtempo music. Oscillating between ambient and dub techno, this low key mix fits well with a lazy afternoon under the winter sun.

It is undeniable that we are living in uncertain times. For those of us failing to fit the patriarchal neoliberalist mould, we have lost hope in the future. We can see capitalism is not working but we cannot yet envisage an alternative. In a world where security is no longer feasible, the only constant we can rely on is change. Regardless of one’s point of reference, we can understand that every aspect of life, physical and mental is in flux and perhaps this transience is the only thing we can depend on.

This month we have invited @saphileaum to ruminate on these ideas and create an hour of relief from these anxieties. A temporary suspension of reality, where the listener can speculate on alternate modes of existence that reject hetero-patriarchal systems of oppression.

Saphileaum is one of the names of Georgian multi-media artist,
Andro Gogibedashvili. The moniker Saphileaum was born in 2015, highly inspired by esoteric, mystic, new age, cosmic and visionary art and teachings, which hold a huge role and are still a source of constant inspiration. Saphileaum’s sound is often described as cosmic,
spherical, light, visionary, innovative, tribal and hypnotic. 

Alongside producing music, Andro also runs the Theosophy label which is focused on spreading the essence of Theosophycal teachings and meditative ambient music in Tbilisi. He also runs his own small imprint based in Tbilisi, which he feels to be more than just a record label, it is a multi-media platform called Expeditions Above, focused on inspecting the inner and outer unexplored dimensions and realms.
