Asharis;

Their history began with a man named Abu Hassan Al-Ash'aree, He initiated this school of thought and he died in 334H, at the age of 60. 

He grew up as a mutazilee under the care of Abu Ali Al-Jabaree who was a major mutazilee scholar at the time, later he rejects their ideas to go on to form another school of thought regarding the names and attributes of Allah(swt)
