Summer '21 Mix

Hioll has become one of the main influences within the rising cuban Electronic Music scene. Born and raised in La Habana (Havana) and carrying from the beginning, with humility, the flag of Cuban Techno.

Established Abstraction in 2017, the first electronic music label ever in Cubaʼs history and which is dedicated to showing the most outstanding talents from the island. But that has subsequently evolved to welcome new international artists and, as such, become a widely supported source of dance-floor cuts.

As a producer, Hioll's tracks exist in a powerful climax, which looks simultaneously from the most daring and strange hypnotic Techno to the most bizarre and industrial. He has many successful releases in respected and well known labels, being played and supported by big industry names.

This suggests a versatile artist with a strong personality, capable of generating rich and truly unique ideas and, eventually, translating them into a varied context of unprecedented sound experiences.

Los Angeles-based NEKTER aims to take you for a sound-wave magic carpet ride while scratching different parts of your brain with her signature textures and noise. This emerging hypnotic female DJ has been working her way through the underground warehouse circuit, from Los Angeles and San Diego, to Las Vegas and Mexico City.

NEKTER gained her notoriety after winning the 2021 REFORM DJ Contest hosted by 6AM Group, Synthetik Minds and Dirty Epic, after previously cutting her teeth playing warehouses with the Berlin/LA based all-female hard techno collective Fallen Angel Techno. 

NEKTER aims to shake things up and represent the next generation of techno DJs while paying respectful homage to the legends who helped pave the way for the underground techno community.

Dorian Knox 2000 környékén kezdett lemezeket vásárolni, később már tudatosan a sötétebb és asszimetrikusabb stílusú korongokat kereste, amelyek meghatározó szerepet töltöttek be stílusának kiforrásában. 2004-ben a Kashmir Undergroundban kezdett zenélni, ahol évekig több sorozat rezidense volt. Az ezt követő közel egy évtizedben számos helyen és rendezvényen megfordult (Showdown, Technopen, Mono Klub, A38, Cinema Hall) és volt alkalma több példaképével együtt zenélni (James Ruskin, Takaaki Itoh, Speedy J). 2010 óta saját zenék készítésével is foglalkozik.

The Italian power duo RVDE delivers the 16th mix of the TNDB-series. Frank and Vasco aka RVDE are insane producers, writing very layered and versatile tracks whilst subsequently incorporating them in their very energetic sets.

RVDE has been doing quality shows for quite some years now. Getting their music out and supported by techno's greats. Their rolling and driving techno with influences from industrial and oldschool rave leaves an imprint. With a groovy and punchy approach, you can never go wrong with an RVDE set.

It's time for our next resident dj: @septonly ! 

Michel always searched for the elusive beats that set him apart from the mainstream. His dj sets and live acts are a musical trip and his sound has continuously evolved always while always staying true to his Techno roots. His productions are a delicate mixture of darkness and light, creating an energy which took grew his international following leading him to play at the most respected events around Europe, North and South America.

This mix was recorded during famous Black Hole event series in NYC and it's also his North America debut.
