Finishing off the New Year, we have a Long Island native that has been making huge waves in the bass scene since his move to Denver, bringing a weighty two track dub EP, ‘Manic’ to Bassment Dweller Records!

Starting off the EP with 'Hearing Voices', Picky brings a huge atmosphere to the table; inevitably setting the tone for an extremely lurky dub 2 tracker capable of causing mass screw face upon the dancefloor.


It's said that when he opens up the DAW there's no telling what chaos might ensue...

Applecross Collective is thrilled to announce the start of our mix series,  featuring mixes from collective members and friends! 

Kicking us off is @cryptochronica,  the PDX - based project of producer Chris Shimanoff. Heavy, groove-oriented and psychedelic, Cryptochronica's music explores fusing the heavy bass genres of the EDM underground into new alloys. Boiled down to it's most base elements, Cryptochronica is the digital drug, guaranteed to take you on a trip and keep you moving the whole time.

"This mix is the culmination of the last 3 shows I played this spring. Those sets gave me the opportunity to try various combinations of track lists, edits, mashups and custom transitions  so that when it came time to perform the final execution of this live mix, I had a good idea of what I wanted to do. There are A LOT of my original unreleased IDs in this that will be dropping over the next few months, so it felt really good being able to play them out and gauge a response. I really hope you enjoy!"
