The Academy of the Arts of the World was founded over ten years ago. In the meantime, not only has the ADKDW evolved, but the fabric of the world is constantly changing - through wars, uprisings, migrations, pandemics, melting ice, devastating fires, scarcity of food resources and shifts in capital. For *Not Afraid of Art*, the ADKDW has invited artists and thinkers to explore how the world, the world of art and the world of cultural institutions can be rethought. The commissioned works include texts, drawings and sound pieces and circulate in the ADKDW's digital and physical publications.

If I could, c’est le moment où le déni tombe et où la vérité remonte à la surface. Après une rupture, après avoir fait semblant de ne plus rien ressentir… peut-on vraiment pardonner à celui ou celle qui nous a blessé·e ?
Ce morceau RnB évoque ce paradoxe intérieur : quand le cœur bat encore, mais que la fierté garde la mémoire des douleurs.
C’est la suite émotionnelle de mon premier single "M’éloigner", qui parlait de prendre de la distance pour se protéger. Ici, la question est différente : « Si je pouvais te pardonner… est-ce que je le ferais vraiment ? »
Cette chanson m’a aidée à affronter ce que je refusais de voir. J’espère qu’elle trouvera écho en toi, à sa manière 💜
