JMina is a San Diego native who’s lived up and down the west coast (best coast) her whole life, spending years in the Bay Area, and now currently residing in Los Angeles.

She is a lifelong 90s & 00s hip-hop and R&B junkie, emeritus EDM lover, and broadway musical enthusiast, who once had dreams of being a back-up dancer for the pop stars she grew up listening to on the radio. Her music taste is inspired by her family of musicians, the years she’s spent on the competitive dance stage, powerhouse vocals that make her ~feel~ something, live musical performances, and anything that makes her wanna bop her head to the beat and move her feet (and feel united oh oh ohhh ♬).

As an open-format DJ, she’ll have you shakin’ that groove thang to newly released tracks and timeless throwbacks from genres including hip-hop, R&B, disco, funk, pop, and progressive house..and if you’re lucky enough, listen closely and you might hear a hidden Disney tune or nostalgic Glee cover ;)
